How do you think the first wolrd-changing churches operated.
If you were once Christian, did the church you attended have people speaking in tongues, prophecying, being slain in the spirit, drunk in the spirit, etc?
Do you think evangelical Christians are abnormal Christians because they are a minority?
If you're curious as to a biblical definition, Acts pretty well describes what Church should be like. You might be surprised

I don't usually use the word 'abnormal' because to me, there is no definition for 'normal'. There's no such thing as normal when it comes to people. Everyone is different, which is what makes a you and a me.
The first world-changing churches? I don't know how they were operated. It really doesn't concern me.
The churches I used to go to didn't have any of that speaking in tongues stuff. They were pretty nice, except for one that told me I had to burn all my black clothes and rock and metal tapes and get rid of all my Marilyn Manson posters. That to me was BS. But that's just one church out of the many I attended.
I don't think Evangelical Christians are 'abnormal' but I do think they have a tendency to act high and mighty and think they are above manners.
Thanks for the reference. Maybe I'll look into it some time. Maybe you'd be so kind as to describe the churches defined in Acts?

"Abnormal" is a difficult concept to define without having some notion of what you mean by "normal."
