I posted an ad in craiglist and she responded, that was luck. It was luck cause i had posted many other times and nobody answered. Well, now she responded and we will probably meet.

The question is...i've had experiences meeting foreigners and meeting lang exchange foreigners through craigslist and most of those times It ends up faling: They don't have time, they are not interested and don't contact me after the first time we meet... and also I feel worthless and feel like they hate me. Since i have had many sad experiences with foreigners, everytime i try to find another conversation partner I feel negative and feel like i'm going to be hated by them. 

Note also i'm not your typical american , so i feel always that they expect MORE and that they are pretty disappointed in meeting me. I'm a shy person who is not outgoing and who doesn'even have friends. I just lead a lonely life so i guess they would think i'm stupid. However, i also do have some good qualities

I'm asking honestly out of pure curiosity, because I just don't get it. I can believe in things like radiowaves and atoms because even though we can't see them we manipulate and control them, thus they are real to me. I believe in places I've never seen because of maps and geography and documentaries. But for spirituality, I just don't see the basis.

I have seen many instances where a child is corrected or yelled at for not saying a blessing before dinner. Whether the child is 5, 10 or 15 he is corrected or gotten mad at for this. To me that doesn't seem like a teaching but a forced teaching, a forced belief pushed onto the child. Is that truly how a child should learn and make an educated descicion on what his belief system will be?

true faith is based on evidence.we breathe every day yet we do not see the air we breathe but we know it is there. based on evidence we know it does exist.i have faith that every time i inhale i breathe breathable air my faith of this is based on evidence.not a feeling or some unexplain mystery.
