The world is already at the point where if there was some magic way to equally distribute all the food that the world could produce to every person in the world, everybody would be slightly undernourished.
Life on this ball is on the fast track to destruction. We are poisoning the air we breathe, the water, the soil, everything we touch. The more human life that we create, the nearer the end.
Does it worry me ? Not at all. We're banging out kids right and left. Who cares ? If I can't feed them, maybe Uncle Sam will.
Everybody wants somebody to do something about it- - - but not them. Africa is forever yapping about starvation, but look at the number of kids. How do they figure having more and more kids will solve the problem ?

And people wonder why I think poverty, war, and natural disasters are necessary. D'you think maybe... just maybe... they're there for a reason? I mean really, the planet's set up to take care of itself. Hurricanes/floods/earthquakes/fires happen just as they did in the past. The problem isn't nature, it's the people that don't have enought sense to get out of the rain, so to speak. I think that about a third of the human population could go (and I'm sure they will).

I think we could do with a smaller world population. I think it is nuts that people spend millions on IVF to create more people when ten of thousands die everyday from starvation there must be something wrong here.

Well apparently you can fit the population of the world onto the Isles of White and Man...so don't worry about it.

Eradicating all muslims would reduce the population.

Stopping all aid to third world countries would reduce the population.

Executing all violent criminals would somewhat reduce the population.

But, unfortunately, the environmentalists want to make America pay for the size of the global population.

Too many people having too many babies - no thanks to the backward looking Catholic Church. It scares me too, because the natural world and wild animals and plants etc are suffering. I sometimes see mankind as a cancerous parasite. We take but give little back.
