Fine, do you believe in predestination? That there is no freewill...

I believe not. What would be the point of ever being born if our ultimate destination was already decided? I believe we are given the ability to choose how we act and those actions will determine what the afterlife will be like.

No. Predestination implies supernatural involvement, which doesn't exist.

However, all things in the universe are predetermined by natural laws. Quantum randomness may be very real, but its randomness can be scoped as an input to other processes. In short, the entire universe, past present and future, was-is-willbe created in the instant-eternity of the inflationary era.

Time is merely a poor illusion for the truth.

No, we are not all predestined, only some are predestined to heaven, with the rest being left in their sins. This concept is undeniably mentioned in the Bible, but to say that we are all predestined is unscriptural. Man's sins are not God's fault.

This is an interesting question and here is my two cents...

It is common belief amongst all religions that god is all knowing and infoulable (certainly in christianity, judaism and muslim) however, what would be the necessity in creating life if you already knew its conclusion. I commonly hear "god is not bound by time and he exists outside it" therefore, if he exists everywhere at once, he sees every decision at every point in every life before your creation. If he sees the future, he knows your ultimate decision and by simple deduction, no there is no free will under these circumstances. Why create someone who is doomed to an eternity of fire and burning, etc... simple, because modern western religions have it wrong (don't mean to get confrontational, just merely pointed out a loophole)... it is a paradox. Unless of course they believe that god takes delight in watching the suffering of his creations. If he sees all and knows all, he knows your decisions before hand and therefore, you have no decisions.

yes i think certain parts of our lives are predestined and other parts are left up to us.like when we die, i believe we die when we are meant to ,but what we do until that happens is up to us.heaven is for those who are worthy and i believe if you had a bad life or even made bad choices that if you are truly sorry well all end up in the same place one day(heaven)

Okay, why the heck not! I'll take heaven, it's what I'm used to as I sail my planet under the milky way tonight. The moon is full, the spell is cast, tonight in Pennsylvania I'll win all that cash!!!! That's pre ordained at it's finest!

Are, we, all, some, to, and others are the only words that have any meaning in your question.

Edit:

Predestination makes no sense, is it that we live in a deterministic universe? Unlikely given the nature of quantum mechanics.

No. Infact, everyone has free will. If you decide to make a right turn, you decided it, it is not your destiny. I do not believe that the decisions one makes completely on your own should be interperted as your destiny.

I believe in pre-determination AND free will. We have a multitude of choices, and yet everything's laid out. This is only confusing if you get caught up in the human construct of time. :)

I like to have more options than just two, so there are two ultimatums that just do not apply to me.
