I've seen Christians saying that disease is caused by sin. I thought it was caused by microorganisms and malfunctions of the body. Science seems to treat it as such, often successfully.

If disease is caused by sin, why do chemical treatments seem to function so well?

Then again, if disease is caused by sin, what is the mechanism? Did God create the causative elements, or does Satan have the power to create? If God created these things, then how does man have the power to cure?

If sin is the cause of disease, does that mean that we are living in hell, or is simply God punishing us twice?

If disease is caused by sin, why does God afflict his believers?

It's all so confusing for an INAC on the outside looking in. What sort of logic might you bring to bear on this subject for us unrighteous fools?

Lots of Indians stay in UK and many arecitizens of UK, they say even though they are in UK there Heart is in India, but when it comes to relocation to India, they go 100% against it. Are they patriotic. Reason they give is Indians infrastructure and Indians attitude is not good. If so why u want to point to India and say I am Indian when it come to attitude why u people want to point and say "You Indians" "Your Countries infrastructure" "Your country politics", whats the meaning of you, so u mean to say you are not Indian. If u don’t like India or Indian do speak, better u tell I am a British, and I hate to be Indian. Don’t even try to hurt a Indian or make him feel bad.

Usually I'm as polite and courteous to others as I can be when answering their questions by giving a logical answer, however once or twice when the question was outrageous I simply put "reported" and nothing more. I would never put someone down by calling them names, yet I got a stern warning for that answer. Has anyone gone through the same thing by asking something or answering in a way that they thought was innocent, but got trouble for it? Needless to say, I'll be more careful next time. Thank you.

Why should one's inner convictions about the existence of "God" indicate that such a being exists outside of the believer's own mind? In other words, if we can rely on subjective "intuitions" about god, why can't we rely on subjective intuitions about ghosts, devils, witches, and other supernatural agents ?

I mean even if there turns out to be no God ... then what's the harm? But if there is, the non-believers will face the negative consequences.

I don't mean this to be rude, though I am VERY sure some, if not all, will take it that way. If you fully believe in God, having what can only be blind faith, then why does everyone stop believing in Santa? I mean, be honest, if you come to the conclusion that God exists, then must it not also be a possibility that Santa could exist? Or, that vampires (real, not people who get fang implants) could be real? Or that fairies could exist? The list could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the point. What makes God so believable, and all these others rubbish? I know there's the bible, but there are books about all these other things as well. And, I am sure you could find people who would swear they have seen each and everyone. Please be polite, because even though I question your belief, I am NOT insulting it.

Hello! But why do so many people believe this Portugese newspaper that Gwyneth Paltrow made anti-American remarks? And all those so-called American's who now claim to hate her and refuse to pay to see any of her movies should reconsider their American citizenship. As an American, you're allowed Freedom of speech--so if she did say that, then that is her opinion. But I do not believe it because we didn't HEAR her make this comment plus she denied it--if she really said it, the newsppaer would be able to prove it after she claimed she didn't say it. They would have recorded it; true? And let's face it--the British definitly do have a better education program than the American's. Sad, but true.
