They would have had to decide ahead of time which "bible" they were going to edit.
No matter which one, they would have made just another version of their own.
They would have parts of it missing. Every time someone rewords or rephrases any part of it, that's what happens.
Organized religion has been doing it for 120 years now, because clergy for the most part doesn't believe a word of any bible any way.

No one takes too many modern "bibles" seriously. Most of them have nonsensical statements.
Yahoo is able to edit a whole bible, but which one?
The personal beliefs of the editors would make a huge difference in how this "bible" would be phrased.

I walked away from organized religion, stuck with the king James bible, and go to church only 3 times a year.
I stick with the old bible.

If any one wants their own, those are already a dime a dozen. It's already been in our language for a few centuries now, and it's a joke to keep going backwards to change stuff in it.

They don't need to King Constantine already did. For the unadulterated version go to gospelofthenazirenes. The original New Testament and teachings of Christ. The Original Followers of Christ (the Essenes) kept them hidden and they are now available in English. Amazing Truth.
