I am so impressed with the Gospel of John. The one I have comes with two DVD's, one two hours long and a Theatrical three hour version. I don't watch the two hour version any more, the three hour version is too good.
I have watched some old Christian movies on Billy Graham's site. They have changed the site, but I think that they still offer free movies online.
I have a library of DVD's and I think that most of them are not very good. But there is something that I would like you to consider. If you don't mind secular movies, there are a few for mature viewing; the extended version of White Oleander, The Name of the Rose, any Hollywood movie that has to do with the End Times (The Omen, The End of Days, I can't remember some of the others, lol ) David Duchovny was in a film where his girlriend was being misled by cultic thinking, I'm sure that it is in his movie bio. Make sure there aren't any children watching it!
I hope that you find someplace where there is a concentration of Christian movie reviews. Michael Medved is supposed to be a Christian film critic, you might want to start there.

Walden Media is a new production company that is targeting the Christian community.
Walden Media as well produced Narnia
Also, you might want to check out the Family Christian Bookstore for a list of their movies they sell.
This coming year there will be an expansion of more movies targeted towards Christians.
Did you see End of the Spear? It's about Christian ministries being killed on their missionary trips.

To End All Wars. Movie set in WWII. Based on a true story. The book is probably better to read. The movie has a fair bit of violence in it but the story is very profound.
Also, The Conscientious Objector. Another true story WWII movie. I haven't seen it yet but I hear it's very good.

I think there was really only one Christian movie I really liked... Called "Future Tense"... it's a short film, maybe less than an hour but I liked it.

I just finished watching Janette Oke's "Love Comes Softly" series. There's four: “Love Comes Softly,” “Love's Enduring Promise," “Love's Long Journey” and "Loves Abiding Joy". They're really good, clean movies for the whole family.
And the best website that I know of for rating movies (even video games) is: http://christiananswers.net/spotlight/home.html

If you like war type movies, "Saints and Soldiers" is really good about religion in war. Another not so bad one is "The Other Side of Heaven" about a young man doing a mission in Tonga (not a war movie).
