Yes the CHAKRAS are real and in Hinduism and Tantra, any of 88,000 focal points in the human body where psychic forces and bodily functions can merge and interact. In Hinduism there are seven and in Tantra four major chakras, each associated with a colour, shape, sense organ, natural element, deity, and mantra. The most important are the heart chakra, the chakra at the base of the spine, and the chakra at the top of the head.
The earliest known mention of chakras is found in the later Upanishads, including specifically the Brahma Upanishad and the Yogatattva Upanishad. These Vedic models were adapted in Tibetan Buddhism as Vajrayana theory, and in the Tantric Shakta theory of chakras.
The seven chakras and the five elements in Tantra. Supplied by Sanatan SocietyIt is the shakta theory of 7 main chakras that most people in the West adhere to, either knowingly or unknowingly, largely thanks to a translation of two Indian texts, the Sat-Cakra-Nirupana, and the Padaka-Pancaka, by Sir John Woodroffe, alias Arthur Avalon, in a book entitled The Serpent Power.
This book is extremely detailed and complex, and later the ideas were developed into what is predominant western view of the Chakras by the Theosophists, and largely the controversial (in theosophical circles) C. W. Leadbeater in his book The Chakras, which are in large part his own meditations and insights on the matter.
That said, many present-day Indian gurus that incorporate chakras within their systems of philosophy do not seem to radically disagree with the western view of chakras, at least on the key points, and both these eastern and western views have developed from the Shakta Tantra school.
There are various other models of chakras in other traditions, notably in Chinese medicine, and also in Tibetan Buddhism. Even in Jewish kabbalah, the different Sephiroth are sometimes associated with parts of the body. In Islamic Sufism, Lataif-e-Sitta ( Six Subtleties ) are considered as psychospiritual "organs" or faculties of sensory and suprasensory perception, activation of which makes a man complete. Attempts are made to try and reconcile the systems with each other, and notably there are some successes, even between such diverged traditions as Shakta Tantra, Sufism and Kabbalism, where chakras, lataif and Sephiroth can seemingly represent the same archetypal spiritual concepts. In Surat Shabda Yoga, initiation by an Outer Living Satguru (Sat - true, Guru - teacher) is required and involves reconnecting soul to the Shabda and stationing the Inner Shabda Master (the Radiant Form of the Master) at the third eye chakra.
REKEI which is very popular in Easten countries, is based on Chakras only.
For treating various ailments the experts energise the chakras and it acts very well. Only you should know the person who can really do it as in every field, like astology, palmistry, Vasthu, etc there are fake personalities say themself as expert to earn money.

Yes chakras exist....
a large part of our society believes in opening up our chakras and being in a state of peace with your body.
I am curious to see what makes you so hesitant to take this seriously, if you want more personal proof that it exists, look up how to open your chakra centers and try it yourself, you might find you like it.
If you do as I suggested, dont try it with a closed mind with negativity. Try being open for the new experiance; and just because it mak not work wonders for you the first time, doen't mean it's bogus, keep trying.
Heres a fascinating website you may like:

Imagine a ball in your hand. There is now a mental ball in your hand. Now, if you read anything about Out of Body experiences, you'll notice half of the people there have a silver chord, and the other half do not.
Now, if you don't imagine a mental ball in your hand, there is no longer a ball there. This is because you are creating on the level of mind, which people who are like me can see/sense. When you imagine it gone, someone like me will "watch" it go away, and be able to tell you. Because of this, there are different explanations of chakras that exist, unless you don't believe in them.
Why would the Soul divide itself into parts? The simple answer is, it didn't, but we think it did so we create it, even though it is not divided.
What you believe, you perceive.
If you are after Chakra from Naruto, the short answer is yes, and it is called Psi, or mental power. In Japan, it's ki. Tai Chi is the only art I know if that practices it. www.nightwind19.com might have more references.

In Hindu mythology, chakra existed only with Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna, both used chakra to kill demons.
They threw chakra to demons and after slaughtering the head of the victim, chakra would come back to the owner.

Yes they exist. A pendulum can prove the size of them,
There is also a lot of BAD information out there so use with extreme caution.
Each chakra is associated with a gland or glands in the endocrine system.
If you are not careful; you can really muck up the endocrine system when you started trying to manipulate the chakras.
As far as i am concerned; they are useful for diagnosing the health of the endocrine system and nothing else!

yep...
BASIC OVERVEIW:
In Hinduism and in some related Asian cultures, a chakra (Devanagari: चक्र) is thought to be a nexus of metaphysical and/or biophysical energy residing in the human body. The New Age movement, and to some degree the distinctly different New Thought movement, have also adopted and elaborated on this belief.
SCIENTIFIC OUTLOOK:
The idea of chakras as understood in Eastern philosophy does not exist in medical science. There is no physically verifiable anatomical or histological basis for their existence. In Eastern thought, the chakras are thought to be levels of consciousness, and states of the soul, and 'proving' the existence of chakras is asking to 'prove' the existence of a soul. A mystic deals with these occult concepts on the occult plane, as a model for their own internal experience, and when talking about 'energy centres', they are generally talking about subtle, spiritual forces, which work on the psyche and spirit, not about physical, electrical, or magnetic fields.
The primary importance and level of existence of chakras is therefore posited to be in the psyche. However, there are those who believe that chakras have a physical manifestation as well. Although there is no evidence that Indian mystics made this association themselves, it is noted by many that there is a marked similarity between the positions and roles described for chakras, and the positions and roles of the glands in the endocrine system, and also by the positions of the nerve ganglia (also known as "plexuses") along the spinal column, opening the possibility that two vastly different systems of conceptualization have been brought to bear to systemize insights about the same phenomenon. By some, chakras are thought of as having their physical manifestation in the body as these glands, and their subjective manifestation as the associated psychological and spiritual experiences.
Indeed, the various hormones secreted by these glands do have a dramatic effect on human psychology, and an imbalance in one can cause a psychological or physical imbalance in a person. Whether these changes in body state have a bearing on spiritual matters is a subject of dissent even among the Indian theorists, and the different systems of conceptualization, Indian and Western, make only a partial convergence in this case.
Perhaps the most psychologically dramatic and potent secretion of these glands is the psychedelic drug DMT (which is thought to be synthesized by the pineal gland, corresponding to the brow chakra). Some individuals have sought spiritual breakthroughs through the use of such chemical aids, occasionally referred to as entheogens in this context. (See for example: Aldous Huxley, The Doors of Perception, a classic of new-age spirituality.)
