Would I seek common Ground with Satan and those whom he uses, I think not. I do not compromise my Faith. I spread the truth when ever I can. Look at how Jesus did it, he always spoke of the truth. If they didn't believe he tried to convince them with a story so that they would believe. He did it in such a way as he was nice, but he could get upset. Just look at all those vender's in the temple that he threw them and their stuff right out. Sometimes you can not tame the wolf, therefore you must do what ever you need to get rid of him. You can have debates and truth must be stated or why the debate? If you wish to debate the other must want to too. To debate is to give each other know truths as they see it and then present evidence to each's belief. You ask "How does the Holy Spirit lead and guide us in this delicate issue? " I do not know and will not speak for him. But I am sure he is going to do a much better job then we can.
