The Watchtower Society teaches that only 144,000 (anointed) people go to heaven, the extras are part of the "great crowd" as spoken of in Revelation 7:9. However, Revelation 7:15 states that this "great crowd" are before the throne of God (heaven). Also Revelation 19:1 states "great crowd in heaven". So, the Watchtower Society teaches the great crowd will be on earth, but the New World Translation and the Holy Bible says the great crowd is in heaven. How can this be explained?

for those who are sight disadvantaged, reading all caps would be a benefit. i'd like to know who decides these rules and why they, he, she or what, use a form of censorship when communicating should be free!

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

My 2 year old was born with a mark on his chest that looks like a scar. Today I asked him "what's that?" just to see what he'd say. He went on to tell me that is was where the bad guy got him. In detail without coaxing from me he told me about a bad guy that came to fix something for us. He wasn't supposed to come in the house but his brother let him in. He "hurt Mommy" so I shot him but he got me first. I was speachless. My older son used to talk of being a girl and helping me on the farm. Anyone else have kids say things like this?

Is it possible that The Rapture already happened and God decided that nobody on the whole planet was worthy?

This is a huge on-going question that nobody can really answer. But I want to know how it is that people are so different from your ownself. I mean we all breathe, reproduce, bleed, and die, don't we? (*Okay, maybe some of us have never had the ability to reproduce but you know what I mean.*)

It should be the other way around if anyone has a sense of history, and the mistakes that can happen through the ages.

Imagine how much more intelligent and worldly wise americans would be if they hadn't made the mistake of going on their own!

When Saddam Hussein was captured, everyone cheered. Approporiate. When the big statue came down everyone celebrated. Appropriate.

People stood right there at the death gallows and yelled and screamed there jubilance as Saddam swung in the breeze. Is that appropriate? Maybe I just don't understand because I didn't go through all that those people did.

Does the sanctity and respect for the dead ever take over? I realize that Saddam never had much respect for the dead. But are we no better?

Seems to me that a quiet and very sobering finality would have been the mood. Do you have any thoughts on this????

The 1948 or 1967 generation? The generation that will see Jesus coming back on the clouds? If it's the 1948 generation, then 1948+40=1988 which has passed. If it's the 1967 generation, then 1967+40=2007 which is coming very soon. So we will see Jesus next year? 1948 is when Israel became a nation & 1967 is when Jerusalem returned to Israel fyi. 40 yrs is the span of a generation in the bible.

They always say:
1 - "Not everything is black or white"
2 - "You can't generalize"
3 - "You are being a (whatever)IST"
4 - "You are just a (insult)"

Or they just just answer with another QUESTION!

Wanna bet how much some bimbos will answer this very question on those molds? :)

nothing against non christians but i get on this site and see people talk about are kids are corrupt and all because of christians. however the crime rates were down and are rising faster now and kids were more well behaved compared to now. now you hear bout kids mouthing off at teachers and other adults and crimes are picking up like shooting ppl as they get gas or what not. but all this started the more they took God out of schools. and most kids i see acting up the parents dont go to church. and are not taught manners.

the other thing is as christians we are at a lose lose situation. cause anyone can say they are christian. rather they believe or not. i work with a coworker who says he is a christian but cusses all the time. i asked about it and he said he does not believe in God or the Bible and just does it to give us a bad name. anyone can say they are a christian but how are they living. if people would read the Bible they would know how a true christian acts.

We live in a world of very finite resources and the less mouths to feed the better it is for everyone because everyone has more resources per person, right? Don't we have enough problems without adding more due to lack of contraception? It seems to me that if everyone had 4 kids per generation we'd be completely screwed in like a hundred years, wouldn't we?
