nothing against non christians but i get on this site and see people talk about are kids are corrupt and all because of christians. however the crime rates were down and are rising faster now and kids were more well behaved compared to now. now you hear bout kids mouthing off at teachers and other adults and crimes are picking up like shooting ppl as they get gas or what not. but all this started the more they took God out of schools. and most kids i see acting up the parents dont go to church. and are not taught manners.
the other thing is as christians we are at a lose lose situation. cause anyone can say they are christian. rather they believe or not. i work with a coworker who says he is a christian but cusses all the time. i asked about it and he said he does not believe in God or the Bible and just does it to give us a bad name. anyone can say they are a christian but how are they living. if people would read the Bible they would know how a true christian acts.

i just dont like getting called dumb. and alot of non believers call christians that as well as corrupting our kids. you see that all the time. but there is no proof that christians make this world worse. as i said a true christian loves everyone, does not drink to get drunk, some dont even drink at all. does not steal, fight or go around just shooting inocents. and as far as non believers out there who always bring up what a christian does wrong. we all are human and sin. it is what we do after that. do we cont. to do that same thing or do we ask God for help and turn away. and try to not do that again. and a christian does not judge others.

first i pointed out that there are a lot who say they are a christian but are not. nothing against them but just because i go to church on sunday and then live a worldy life the rest of the week does not make me a christian. people say they are christian just because they believe in God. but they dont believe the Bible or live a life that we should. and an atheist can say oh yeah i am a christian but really not be. also crime has gone up. not down. the only reason why it appears to go down cause 50 yrs ago african americans were blamed for any small thing. had nothing to do with beliefs at all. were as now we are all equal.

and me when my kids do something wrong i blame them or myself for not teaching them. i dont blame it on non believers and oh they influenced my son. or tv or nothing else. we dont have a tv and if we did then that would be my fault if my kids did stuff because of tv or video games. i know what a true christian is supposed to be like. yes we still sin like once in a blue moon i will say a cuss word when i hit my hand or toe on something. but it is a lot better then what i used to be. i would say a cuss word every other word. like i said if non believers can show scritpures and quote them then read the Bible more and see what a christian is all about. we are not about hate or judging. but love and kindness. funny how most my buddies trust me over there other buddies and i am the only christian. why is that. christians if truefull get trusted.

i am not saying that non christians are all to blame either. just saying that were do non christians get the right to blame christians. i posted to ask just because i get that all the time. and see it all the time. even on this. christians get bashed and told we are brainwashing our children and whatever else. and that if they would take christianity out all together that the world would be so much better. however if everyone was a true christian it would be better too. works both ways.

this is also a lot of just what i see. why should i have to site were i get info from. if non believers dont. not hard to look up stuff. same thing with proving how old earth is. i can site many things that will say it is 6000 years old. as well as many that say it is 4.5 billion. however none are truly proven. as far as crime and stuff you can just see it. when i was going to school kids did not back talk the teacher. we also prayed. and did the pledge. now at my sons school who he is in kindergarden the kids go off on the teacher. in public when i was a kid if a older person told me something i said ok. and even everyone around me. now kids are disrespectfull. they are out running around. like i said my biggest thing is that if people would truly read what a christian is supposed to be like then they would know that we are good people. the differance is a true christian if we sin we try to not do it again and try to repent of it. were as most dont care and cont.

I totally agree with your opinion. It's just easier to blame Christians for that very reason; talk but no walk. sigh.

Hmmm.....kids being corrupt because of Christians? That would be a broad generalization. Blaming any kind of childhood behavior strictly on one group of people would be completely irrational. Childrens' behavioral patterns are based on their environments, both outside AND inside the home. If the home environment is a negative one, and the child shows the effects of this environment outside of the home, how can an attentive parent blame anyone but themselves? If the parents of these children would actually PAY ATTENTION to and LISTEN to their children, become involved with their lives and upbringings instead of leaving it to the teachers and other authority figures in their lives, they might actually start seeing an improvement in the way things are happening. As it stands, though, parents leave too many things up to what their children absorb through outside sources, such as basic morality, the foundations of a healthy home and family, educational influences. etc. As parents, it is up to them to raise their children in a positive, loving, supportive home. When they fail to do so is when we see these outbursts of violence and lack of respect for others.

I wonder. Is it possible that there were say, school shootings in the 1880s, but because communications were far less immediate than they are now, other communities never heard about them? They could have been quite easily covered up when many people never ventured more than a few miles from where they were born.

I agree that any mono theistic based society has a warped experience of acceptable and incorrect...yet, each guy or woman does too. occasion, in a psychology type, we study a difficulty the place the considerable different is loss of existence, some researcher reveals a treatment and it fees him $500 yet he fees $a million,000. you are able to in simple terms improve $seven-hundred however the researcher won't enable it choose for under $a million,000. Do you scouse borrow it? My answer grow to be the researcher is a fortunate SOB if i do no longer carry close him up by utilising his toenails once I take it, yet i'm beneficial there are others who think of in yet differently, regardless in the event that they are Christian or no longer. as much as now as monogamy is going, it variety of feels entrenched in each society that efficient adult adult males have greater effective than one spouse (Egyptian, Hindu, Greek and of direction there are diverse examples from the OT to the present day (Christian society). besides the undeniable fact that, it truly is nevertheless a great have faith project between those in touch. I study that Christianity grow to be a stable faith to grant the fundamentals yet for truly deep gaining understanding of, a guy or woman has to wade by way of different stages in the past reaching 'enlightenment'. yet, someplace alongside the way, the decrease point grow to be made dogma and the flexibility hungry spiced it up with some OT words (in spite of training that JC's coming did away with all of that) so now the crazies have a very fcked up delusion to 'justify' their lunacy. i might say Islam has it truly is honest proportion of warped persons, too...i do no longer hear lots approximately or from the Jewish section yet they have greater 'reason' to be violent than the Christians do.

In a related question: Why do christians create myths that more crime began when they took prayer out of schools, let alone as a result of it... Adolescant violence has been on a decline in the US as of late.
Even if the crime rate had risen, linking it in such a way to prayer in schools makes no more sense than linking global warming to the decrease in pirate population... Which of course isn't to say we shouldn't all become midget pirates to please his nooliness, it's just an example.

well i think the answer lies in the fact that everyone wants someone to blame when things go wrong. people don't like to be told that the fault lies in something that they themselves did. therefore, it is very easy to blame Christians for things because no matter what, the Christian response will always be dissected and misquoted, or taken out of context and used in a negative manner.

Everything that happens is blamed on us Christians . Because non believers have to point a finger at someone other than themselves. One good characteristic of a true Christian is taking responsibilty for their own actions. Jesus loves you.

For one thing, "God" is not necessarily the answer. Jesus showed the way of forgiveness and love, and spoke of his oneness with the father. But God in the old testament sense refers to Satan (the lord of Moses was Satan). What we need in the schools, then, is the true father of Jesus, not the violent bloodthirsty God of Moses. I say bring Jesus into the schools (and all other loving and forgiving deities).

I am sorry to say you are only going to get bashed on this forum for that but I sorta agree!
When God is being eliminated from the fabric of society, when the family unit has deteriorated, when teachers who love children and have worked for 25 yrs are quitting b/c they are disciplining instead of teaching, when Christians don't live the life . . . . yes it gets worse.
This nation and people in general are turning from their creator. Just know and have faith this just means we are getting closer to our saviors coming!!
Keep your faith, pray for the Christians you speak of. Pray on their behalf. There is plenty of scripture telling you your faith might be faith enough for someone else. Be Christ like and I will see you in eternity someday. . . . . which I believe is getting closer as we speak.
God Bless

A correlation does not establish causation. If I drop a sock at the same time my bunny sneezes, does dropping socks cause bunnies to sneeze?
If you have any proof that the rate of crime in schools is inversely proportionate to the amount of religion in schools, do provide it. Until then, I would not accept your statement as fact.

I have data to back up what I say. I am a 4th grade teacher, who on a daily basis see teachers get yelled, cussed and assaulted. Parents are no different. There is no room for God in this society, you know why? Because he makes them feel guilty. He makes them actually stop and think about their actions. People are way to busy for that these days. Sad isn't it. There has to be someone to blame.
