Of course! that's one way we are made in the image of God.
Since I am a panthiest, I have no problem with this. One of the ways God creates is thru me.

Well, I feel created mostly by my father's sperm. So if he is my creator, this is an interesting question. My father is a creative man, and whenever my creativity shines through it does make me feel closer to him.. Which is kind of heart-wrenching sometimes because I don't care for him much.
As far as feeling closer to God, no.

Absolutely! God(dess) created the world. When we create a work of art, a book, a song, we are in some small way mimicking that act, which is kind of cool. If you check out Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way," she has quite a lot to say on this topic.
