Studies done on the human brain, like the one done in the 90s by the University of Michigan and featured on the Discovery Channel in the Amazing Life of the Human Brain series, show that our brains have the capacity to absorb data for 10,000 years, at the rate of over 10MBs per second while awake.

If man evolved, what type of evolutionary pressure could result in the need for this type of storage capacity?

Also, if man evolved, does this mean that we once lived for over 10,000 years, and has since de-evolved to what were are now?

I need to know whey everyone I know thinks I have to think the same way about God as they do. I beleive in Him and the Bible and all, but I just think that parts of the bible are disputable. I am not an athiest, but I am not a 100% devout believer either. I just someone to explain why everyone wants me to believe what they think I should. How do they know I'm not right and they are all wrong?

I want to get some acquaintaces at school some Christmas gifts, like a little thing for all of them, most of whom I have known for quite a few years and we are friendly but I am not very close to them but I figure I should since it's senior year and I want them to know I like them, because I'm shy and don't talk much and worry sometimes that they don't think that I like them as much as I do. But I don't want them to feel uncomfortable or guilty or obligated to me.

Everyone knows that muslims are the only real terror threat, whether its air travel or anything else.

If we refuse to ban such a caustic and cancerous religion in our midst, why cant we at least profile them?

Australia has a new measure that uses the doctrinal cause of terror against itself. Their new law now makes Muslim immigrents swear an oath thats contrary to their religious beliefs.

Muslims see Islam as a nationality with supreme loyalty, and by forcing them to swear otherwise, you weed out most of them, and all of the literalists (which is most of them).

I know, the pathetic and weak leftists of America dont have the backbone and practical good sense of the Aussies, but an American can dream cant he?

My organization will be giving away free dresses to high school girls who cannot afford a prom dress. This event will happen in March 2007, I would like to know which department stores are known to get involved in the community. They can even be dresses from last fashion season.

All we are asking for is clean and good condition items that these young girls will apperciate.

Yeah... Trying to find something to do in Nashville, TN on New Year's Eve. My fiancee and my best friend and I are trying to make plans, but are not having much luck with finding anything.
