Yeah... Trying to find something to do in Nashville, TN on New Year's Eve. My fiancee and my best friend and I are trying to make plans, but are not having much luck with finding anything. We really don't want to spend more than $50 each on the evening. We're also middle aged, so "partying" with a bunch of college kids won't be ideal for us. Dinner is a definite, but then what?

Does Nashville not have a family-friendly, alcohol-free event? Many cities host events called "First Night"...it sounds like what you are looking for. Churches often have celebrations...pot luck dinners or programs of some kind. Also check your local newspaper in the events section...surely there is a concert or something. Happy 2007!

WEll you could go to The New England patrons and Titans football game because they are playing that weekend at Tenn. or you could go to a Nashville predators and Boston Brueons Hockey game because they are also going to be playing that weekend. But also there is this really cool place there that has tons of Ice sculptures and like they have like this huge slide made out of ice that you can slide down. Yea this is what i am doing in nashville that weekend when I go!

Heck, come to Arkansas and party with us. We just sit around a Bonn Fire, a few Guys/Girls pick on the guitar. Get drunk, we find you a place to crash or a Hotel, whatever. It be fun. AND, no one goes hungry around here!!!!
