saved from what? what was before jesus's death? eveything before him was how it is now, people 'sin' (which is relative in speaking) as they did then the same they do now. Being born again is brain-induced, it's a chemical reaction for letting go of reason and rationale. Divine? hardly.

why do you need a man-based religion??

Why would anyone in their sound mind give away money to religious groups? Charity? (Many Non-profits are not religious).

Why not cut the middle man? Who told you your religion (Catholic, Baptist, Jewish, Muslim, whatever) is the right ONE? YOUR PARENTS??

Since your God knows what you're thinking, why would anyone need a priest or a pastor?

One of my male friends came to visit this morning and gave me some money. I didn't open the envelope until he had left. When I saw how much it was ($50--a lot for me) I was shocked. Now I feel embarrassed and guilty for complaining about being broke. There is no ulterior motive behind this gift. The man is over 80 and has a beautiful young wife. He's always doing things to help people.

ones special needs? I am in my mid 30’s. Worked very hard and done well for myself and my family. I am tired of taking care of everyone who happens to have some special needs. I know that some are born this way, some do it to themselves by doing stupid things, some are just lazy, and some just fake it. I see the negative effects of this philosophy in my children’s schools, my work place, stores, and many other places. I am sorry but why should their problems affect my life so much. Why should my child get less one on one attention from the teacher because we are mainstreaming mentally handicapped children who take up 3 times as much time as a normal kid?

I was watching the Tuxedo and this movie with Jet Li and Aaliyah an dI noticed that they were couples and they didn't kiss. I also say another movie with Jet li and some other woman and they didn't kiss or have sex. What's up? If it was a Asian woman and a non-Asian guy she would be having sex in the movie. They make it seem like Asian men aer sexless and Asian women ar ehypersexual.

I just moved into a black environment and it seems like it's very hard for me to make friends...I already have enemies but i haven't done anything to anybody!! I try to be myself and keep my mouth shut about other people but they still dislike me...they always talk about the way i talk ... Is it because I talk proper and not slang? Is it because I'm not black enough? But I'm light skinned...!!!

I'm having trouble drawing lines between (non)religions. I believe that there is a god that exists outside the universe. it lives in a realm that does not have our laws of physics, so it can exist forever and ever without a beginning and it can create matter. so it (maybe it was bored) created our universe and the laws it must abide by (which i mean laws of physics not morals). after trillions of years our planet developed an evolution happened. then we came up with different beliefs as to how we got here (before we were good at science) thus creating different religions. the god may still be watching and may not be, but either way it has had no influence on out universe other than the initial creation of it. it did not know that humans would come to be and therefore did not give us morals to live by. we have no soul and there is no afterlife.

now would you say this is atheism, agnostism, or intellegent design?

plz don't trash my beliefs or anything, just answer the question.

i just think about it all of the time and i feel so stupid for allowing it to happen, it makes me want to cry.
i know it sounds stupid but for some reason it hit me hard.

i am a buddhist, but i also believe in a god. buddhism has taught me so much about life, and i do not get as upset as i used to be. i respect buddha a lot, but i also..

now i believe in a god. a god that is full of love and is watching over us every minute. a god that will not care if you don't believe in him. a god that treats everyone equally. a god that will never put you into hell if you don't believe in him. when you die, he will kindly talk with you, trying to make you become a better person in your next life. the bad people will get a second chance to prove his kindness in his next life. when he is truly kind, he will reach heaven, or god would praise him, and let him speak with buddha for further great steps of his life.

this god that i believe in never requires anyone to believe him. no hell exists in his mind, and he would be happy just to see everyone happy, kind, and healthy. this god is forever smiling. who is this god?

I am a young teenager of Italin and African decent. Though my years of school I have found that when someone I have known asks if I am 'black' and I explian my heritenge they may act differtly towards me. They may responed nicely but, most likely thats not the case. For example: my 'best friend', (she is Porto Ricen) along with our other friend who is African, consently makes remarks about how I act 'white' and sound 'white' how I look adopted when I'm with my mother and half sisters . My friend Munchkin ( he's white, I don't know exactly what) says somtimes I shouldent join a cheer for something/one because is for a 'white' thing. Here in America we are suposed to be a 'melting pot' of religious, ethnic,and moral belifes, that is what makes this country. So why does a person get put down for something can't control, makes them special, and enhances the country?
