i am a buddhist, but i also believe in a god. buddhism has taught me so much about life, and i do not get as upset as i used to be. i respect buddha a lot, but i also..

now i believe in a god. a god that is full of love and is watching over us every minute. a god that will not care if you don't believe in him. a god that treats everyone equally. a god that will never put you into hell if you don't believe in him. when you die, he will kindly talk with you, trying to make you become a better person in your next life. the bad people will get a second chance to prove his kindness in his next life. when he is truly kind, he will reach heaven, or god would praise him, and let him speak with buddha for further great steps of his life.

this god that i believe in never requires anyone to believe him. no hell exists in his mind, and he would be happy just to see everyone happy, kind, and healthy. this god is forever smiling. who is this god?

I'm not a Buddhist, but a Happy Pagan and that sounds like a really good discription of my God. My god's always smiling and always loving too. Thank you, sister for making me smile tonight. Blessings.

This God like all God concepts is pure fantasy.
It is based not on a being that we can prove actually exists but rather on how you feel a God should behave.

The problem here is that in the idea of God that you mention you say about this God talking to people about their life. From whose perception of reality would this God be coming from? Would it be the limited way in which we perceive reality to be based on our being bound by time. Or would it be from the perspective of a God that knows all time and would percieve reality in a way that is not bound by the limitation of time.
This different degrees of perception would cause very drastic differences in what we may consider good and evil and what that God figure would call good and evil. Quite honestly there is no way that we could relate to a God that dwells outside of time and knows all time. Such a being would be beyond our level of understanding.

However this type of God is the creation of man's fantasies!
There is no way to prove that such a being ever existed or exists now. So to base ones life around a God which we have no way of proving exists is to potentially based ones life around a delusion!

Buddha never claimed to be a God or angel or anything. All he said is I am awake. Most people dwell on what was or what might be and fail to live in what is. Buddha taught attention to what is not in what some person said or was written in a book!

He sounds exactly like the God Jesus speaks about in the course in miracles.

Sounds like you should get the book.

I assume you connected with this God in your meditations. The course has helped thousands of people to do this very thing. Apparently you did it on you own.

Ignore the people making fun. They are too afraid of the false judgmental punishing God they have been mislead into believing in to understand the truth you have found.

Email if you need more info on the course.

What you have is your own personal make-believe, pretend God. It's not necessarily a bad thing. Even the gods of the major religions were made up by some person or persons since none of us see God. I'd say that your pretend God is as valid as anybody else's. And if He/She/It helps you live a better life and not oppress other people you're onto a good thing. Have you given it a name?

wow, you're an offended guy or woman. i will pray to the Flying Spaghetti Monster for you. i think of it must be plausible for unicorns to exist, so i in simple terms won't be able to say. i'm specific some human beings particularly do have faith and it particularly is impolite which you mock them.

That is the "God" I have come to know. It exists as both many and one at the same time, which is senseless to human logic--but it is possible with this being, for it is not bound by human logic.

This "God" does not directly interact with this world, for s/he does not wish to interfere with free will; if s/he did, it wouldn't really be free will.

This being does not judge like a human does, unlike the human-created God presented by the Bible.

This God is known by several names--Yeshua, Ori, Allah--yet s/he has no name for hirself, as naming is a human characteristic.

I congratulate you for finding this being. There's nothing holier than a heart full of love.

That's the best description of God I've heard.
My suggestion-- just keep believing that, no need to worry about labelling your God, confining Him/Her/It to any specific religion....
