i believe that stem cells from fully developed people should completely be looked into .
All of the progress (as far as i have heard) from embryos is cancer. They can't controll the growth because it's like taking a part of a code from a computer program: If there's nothing telling the stem cell when to stop growing, it won't stop growing, and then you get a blob of useless stuff.
Now from an adult, you got stem cells that are already nerve tissue or heart tissue: it's program is complete. If they look into that they could get some AWESOME results.
But for some strange sad and stupid reason, scientists want to take embryos, destroy them to take out a piece of the code, and then play God with something that they have no idea what to do with so they can make spare parts. It's so bizzare, and i'm glad the Manhattan Project didn't go that way........ :(
(personal note here: i believe that embryos grow into fetus', then into people. i learned that one in school. a baby grows up into an adult, but it's still a person, so if a fetus grows into a baby, isn't it still a person? And if an embryo grows into a fetus, isn't it a person? If a sperm is left alone for a million years, it's still a sperm. if an egg is left alone for a million years, it's still an egg. If an embryo is left alone for 9 months, it turns into a baby)
Well, that's my take on it.

I'm only against the type of stem cell research that destroys a human embryo. I believe human life starts at conception. I see destroying a human embryo as murder in the name of science. I believe that is fundamentally wrong.
Let's be clear, only adult stem cell research that does not destroy human embryos has a proven track record of helping medicine. The stem cell research that destroys embryos has never produced any tangible benefit...just a lot of expectations.
Even if the stem cell research that destroys embryos could be used to cure Parkinson'd disease or cancers...I still think it's wrong to kill the innocent to help anyone. We are smarter than this...we should find another way.
