Our personas are just like wearing clothes- they're there to protect us from the elements.

people use put on persona because they dont like usually like how they look so they believe if they dress and act like someone else that it helps them and it makes them look better butt the reality is that it makes them look bad .

It can also be a form of protecting oneself...it's easy to get taken advantage of when you bare your soul and self.
