It's possible. If you're sending to tons of people who celebrate Christmas and just one Jew, it seems reasonable to just write "Happy Chanukah" or something and personalize the card. Or you could cut out a white piece of paper and glue it over where the inside message was and write something from scratch. But if it's got a cross or picture of Jesus or the manger scene, then I'd opt for a different card since you do know that this person is Jewish. There are lots of great "holiday" or "seasons greetings" cards. You could even just buy a pack of 5 for the people you know don't celebrate Christmas.

No, Jewish people aren't offended by Christmas and understand the spirit it is given in and appreciate the thought. Would you be offended if you received a card from someone of another faith, in which the message was "thinking of you" or wishing you joy? Its the sentiment that counts.

If however you say you give them to "everyone" and this person isn't someone you are not that close to, then it would be ok to not send it.

I am Jewish and although I would not be offended if I got a Christmas card I would be annoyed. "Happy holidays" cards are just as popular at stores as Christmas cards are, if possible I would buy those and send them out to everyone-just in case there are people of other religions that you work with.

Get a card that is for the holiday season. Happy Holidays. With no specific holiday mentioned. We are in the middle of Hanukkah.

I'm Jewish, and I don't reallly get offended from Christmas cards, but it's a bit inconsiderate. Get a cheap Hannukah card for your coworker. He'll be more grateful and see that you thought of him.

probably not. Though I would try to get a Hanukkah card, or a card with a nice winter scene on it. But in the end, it's the thought that counts.

Can you not find a 'happy Hanukkah' or 'happy holidays' card? I'd get him something but not a Christmas card.

Why not pick up a Hannukah card too? Just the fact that you THOUGHT of the card will mean more than the card.
