Whether you believe in a god or not, there's an argument that free will doesn't exist. From what I've seen, I'll simplify them to a predestination due to a deity or natural predisposition. If you don't believe in free will, how does this affect your decision-making? Do you think you treat the process more casually than others or possibly more critically? Basically, I was just wondering how this belief affects your day to day living.

I think he'd get a kick out of it.

On the front there's a picture of Bush in a suit, looking serious and the words:

"People say my thoughts and words don't always match. So I was very careful to choose a Christmas card that, exactly and precisely, expresses my best wishes to you for a joyous holiday season."

And on the inside:

"Happy Birthday"

Anyway, Muslims think of Jesus as a prophet right? Would it be totally inappropriate to send the card?

That's how it seems to me. Anyone know what I mean? I don't screw around or drink excessively, definately don't touch drugs, will save stray animals, am honest and will do anything I can to help anyone - most people treat me as if I'm a complete freak and that because I don't 'misbehave' I can't be really living life to the full! Anyone else out there the same? (I apologize I am useless at phrasing questions!)

In light of Romans 12:5, Christ's community is One Body, not one on earth one on heaven one in this church one in that church. Are Christ's disciples seperated by death even after His death resurrection and redemption? Are we commanded by Christ to Love and serve each other in community regardless of differences?

Why do atheists come on to this site if this is the one life they get. They advocate to live your life to perfection, but they waste time by coming to the R and S. I'm just wondering why an atheists would waste their time here.

He can say divorce is bad and not casting stones, he can tell us to forgive and love our enemies....etc.

But then he can't drop a hint or give a straitforward philosophy on criminal activity and abuses? abortion (done then, Aristotle gave his opinion on it), molestation and rape (kings took slave boys, eunics), abusing animals having compassion for animals, How about domestic violence? What about murder? What about Capital Punishment? Why was Jesus opinionless on things which were common then as they are now?
