Melt butter in a saucepan. Add marshmallows.
Stir until mixture becomes difficult to stir any more. Mix in the Rice Crispy Cereal and stir until hot.

There are so many cheap and easy Christmas treats out there. It's really a matter of choice. Check out the site below for delicious edibles! Personally, I like the Ice-Cream Treewiches, Ornament Cupcakes and the Red-nosed Reindeer Lollipops.
But there's always the do-it-yourself Holiday Cookies in a Jar kit . Where you put the Christmas cookie ingredients already measured out in a jar and the receiver just adds the liquid ingredients. http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/special/feature/famf1202_feat_gifts/famf1202_feat_gifts6.html
And the Special Spoons are not only inexpensive, but also very unique. Buy a package of plastic spoons, white or holiday colors, dip them in chocolate (melted chocolate chips work well), lay them on wax paper and sprinkle with crushed peppermint pieces. After they dry, wrap them in festive plastic wrap and tie a bow around the end. Place them in a 50 cent coffee mug (from thrift world or dollar store) with cocoa mix or coffee. Friends and family will have a nice warm present for those cold winter nights. http://www.thenews.org/media/storage/paper651/news/2003/12/05/CollegeLife/Cheap.Easy.Holiday.Gift.Ideas-572802.shtml?norewrite200612172045&sourcedomain=www.thenews.org

Peppermint bark!
2pounds of white chocolate
candy canes(red & white kind)-enough for 1 cup of them crushed into pieces
Melt the chocolate. If you dont have a double boiler, just take one pan, boil some water and in a second pan, place the chocolate and put it inside the pot with boiling water until the chocolate melts. Do not have it on too high of heat so the chocolate doesn't burn. Once the chocolate is melted, add the crushed candy canes and if you want, you can add some peppermint extract for some more flavor. Then place the chocolate onto a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and put into the fridge until it has cooled and hardened. Once it has cooled, break it into pieces like you would with peanut brittle.

You can take chocolate chips and melt them in a double boiler. If you do not have a double boiler you can put them in a glass dish. Put that glass dish in a pan of shallow boiling water. Make sure that no water gets in this dish.
Once the chocolate is melted you can dip pretzels or Carmel squares in the chocolate. After they are dipped roll them in nuts or sprinkle them with holiday sprinkles.
Dipping Oreo cookies is also very yummy.
After you have dipped what ever you are dipping lay them flat on a piece of wax paper and let them cool off and harden.
This is a very yummy and easy treat to make any time of the year.

1 pkg small cocktail weiners, (I used little smokies)
1 pkg bacon (I use the center cut....a little less grease and fat)
Brown sugar
Cut bacon in half (or thirds), wrap around smokies. Secure with toothpick, place on old cookie sheet. Sprinkle liberally with brown sugar.
Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes, until bacon is crispy and brown sugar has carmelized
***These are really messy and will destroy your good cookie sheets so use the old ones that are aready destroyed!

If you like brownies and Reese's peanut butter cups then this is for you. Very simple. One box of brownie mix, bake as directed on box. Let brownies completely cool. Next, add a 1/2 jar or more of peanut butter (creamy) over brownies. Set in freezer until peanut butter is hard. Then, top peanut butter with one can of chocolate icing. That's it. Taste just like Reese's. Enjoy!

I made those victorian spiced sugar cookie decrease outs and hand embellished them in silver, gold pearl and glace. They looked like embellishes and my pals and kin have been in the beginning up afraid to eat them yet then they destroyed them in under 2 hours! I lead them to each 12 months and it has grow to be a convention. final 12 months I had to cover the tray so they does not fill up in the past dinner and this 12 months I plan on making a number of gross so i will deliver them to those out of state.
