I have NO idea what to get my boyfriend! [We are 13] He loves dirtbikes, is very athletic, loves the michigan wolverines, and skate boarding. but i cant spend too much money on him...please help! what should i get him?

I am not a psychologist, but this is what i feel. People tend to become more self centered in times of hardships or under stress. It is a normal reaction to care about yourself more than others when you feel threatened by another individual or society. Over time if they are not aware of their behaviour, they may resort to their self centered ways for a long time and hence becoming a self centered individual

I want to know whether or not people believe in Bigfoot, Sasquatch or other mysterious bipeds across the globe (yeti, orang-pendek, almas, etc.) and if anyone does, why they do and what their explanation is. If anyone doesn't, I'm also curious as to why and their explanation for why it isn't real.

So many thousands of issues he could have philosophised on if he wanted to?

Abortion was done then, Aristotle can meantion it and make a ruling on it but Jesus can't?
Abusing children, even molesting them, Kings took slave boys back then, Jesus had no opinion?
Hurting animals? Jesus doesn't seem to care.
Forcing slaves? Jesus stayed neutral

It's really hard to ask WWJD? When he really didn't have many staitforward opinions on many horrifying criminal activities...

If one studies history, the canon came together rather arbitrarily and, even then, some books were highly disputed (while other circulating manuscripts were left out.) Perhaps the highly-organized denominations (Catholic, Orthodox, LDS) should convene new councils and eliminate those books most obviously linked to hate, fear and strife. It has been done before -- Catholic, Jewish and Protestant Bibles all have different selections in them. Even now, it is not monolithic. It's not hard to imagine a much-more benevolent religion with the elimination of just three or four books.
