last year my geography teacher kept saying the US wuz the best place in the world, but i don't agree at all although there are worse places the U.S has it's share of problems too. Personally i don't think the US is the best place in the world. Waht r your opinions?

I don't believe any country is perfect. I think your teacher is rather arrogant and has never been out of the states to make clear judgement. Not American here. Buy have never heard any of my teachers say this about my country. It sound so arrogant and pompous to say the least.

I spent four and a half years in Asia and a few other places over the years. I found nothing to compare with what I had right here. If fact many of the freedoms we take for granted here could get you killed or imprisoned in other countries. I've seen first hand in many places people fighting and dieing to have what we have here. I think we have it real good compared to what I've seen.
