Like, they pause and make it sound and look emotional like it's in a kodak moment or scene in a movie. It's kind of funny and weird. Just curious about the question and the answers.

Please, fellow brother and sisters in Christ--advice. Have you confessed and had it ruin a relationship? I would confess to a friend. Not about her, or anything to do with her, just something I struggle with. What do you think?

I have food allergies (dairy). My boyfriend's friend has invited us to dinner again... They seem to use dairy as a theme for their dinners. Last time we went, the wife got really mad at me because I didn't tell her that I had allergies.
Is it appropriate to tell the host of your allergies?
(I did and she argued with me that I was lactose intolerant, not allergic...i am allergic..not lactose intolerant and I should know, I have been having this my entire life and have lived with it for 38 years..anyways, it does not matter because the bottom line is that I cannot eat it.) Do they think that they can argue me out of a food allergy? Aren't they supposed to have something that I can eat?
I just gave up and ate potato chips and told her that I was not hungry, left and went to the gas station around the corner to get a candy bar and ate it on the way back.

It just makes me wonder,,,what should I do if I am invited to someone else's house for dinner?

A lot of Christians believe this. I am a Christian...but if these books were from God, I wouldn't mind some sort of evidence. I was told at the Council of Nicea, a lot of the books that contradicted the Gospels were burned. I was told there were a lot more books than 66 and it was up for some HUMAN popes and bishops to decide. Did God work through them? Or did they just guess?

It seems unlikely that if an unfamous person built a theme park in their back yard and slept with teenage boys in their beds that we would even be questioning the motives.... your thoughts?

You know, I'm not homophobic and I can tolerate the behavior but the thing that drives me crazy is why homos advocate and press for marital rights. This is quite paradoxical and hypocritical. I mean in every single society marriage is a religious institution and from the last time I heard, not even the most archaic of all religious socities advocate homosexuality. Could anyone shed some light? I can't of get confused and I think that they usually push it when they ask to be recognised by religious bodies

Is Islam a good religion? I read about it a little and I like it. It's beautiful. I'm a Christian but I don't agree with it, I was born in a Christian family but now that I turned into an adult and I could do whatever I want and that is to convert to Islam.
