I still want to know why he didn't bring the two unicorns, two pegasi, and the two dragons on? What did he have against them?

Look, the notion that a boat the size of Manhattan could be built out of wood to survive an abnormal surge of water is ridiculous. Wood is not structurally sound to be able to build such a large vessel!
