He's this dude that keeps posting "Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life" at the end of every one of his posts that I've seen him reply in, and half the time this stupid story called "Allah or Jesus?" accompanies it. Can't this guy get a life?

There is this game website where you can pay so much money to enter these tournaments. Then, if you win, you get some money. So it's basically gambling.
I don't gamble, but I do play their games for free. Well, now they have this thing where you can enter certain tournaments for free. After playing for a long time, you can get enough points to earn these prizes, such as game money to play on (and then you can turn it into real money by winning), or gift certificates to amazon.com or Wal-mart, etc.

Ok, so I've won $18 so far and am about to get enough points to win a $10 gift certificate to amazon.com. And I haven't put any money into it.

Is this wrong? I mean, they are a business trying to make money. And I'm never going to pay them any money. So I'm just using their promos to my benefit, basically.

What do you think?

Do you have people misread your questions? Correct you on the same point you are making? Infer you are saying things you clearly aren't? My guess is the reading comprehension level is around seventh grade at most.

What I don't understand about Christianity is that if the God described in the Bible, the one who is the Father of Jesus Christ is the TRUE God and the Truth, then does that mean that all the Buddhists and Muslims and Hindus, etc are going to go to Hell? Like it doesn't make sense. I want so much to believe in God, but there are so many inconsistencies. How can a whole society of believers in their God (Allah, Buddha, Shiva (?)) be WRONG when their religions have been around for thousands of years longer than Christianity. Am I wrong to want to believe that there is one God and he is Jehovah AND Allah AND Buddha but that he is known under different names to different peoples? Will someone please explain this to me? thanks

My Grandmother blew up a mall when someone told her there was no Tooth Fairy. (She lost all of her teeth. But it was me who put money under her pillow, not the tooth fairy!!!)

To reduce the costs of Christmas spending, I’m considering joining my sister and her fiancée in gift buying for some relatives. When these relatives get the gift, it will be from all three of us. My question – is this proper gift giving procedure when the receiving parties will be buying us an individual gift?

My husband will not hint to me about what to give him- ever. We have been married for one year, and dated three years prior to that. He's not materialistic, but I get the feeling that I could be giving him more than home made coupon booklets and fuzzy socks, like I have in the past. He's definitely not into beer or sports teams. We're both runners, but we have all the gear and running accessories we need. I can't come up with any good ideas. Any suggestions?

We like to make ginger bread houses out of graham crackers, m &m's, peppermints, hersey kisses, and gum drops. The boys invite a friend over to make one, too, and then they have fun smashing it with their heads! We take pictures of the ceremonial smashing.

Jesus either believed he was the son of God, or he didn't.

If he did, he was crazy, because there is no God.

If he didn't believe he was the son of God, but still audaciously remitted the law of God (Old Testament) then he was un-afraid of God.

If he was un-afraid of God, he didn't believe in God (unless, again, he was crazy).

So, if Jesus didn't believe in God, didn't believe he was the son of God, why did he put his neck out to change things from the violent old law to a new law of love? Answer: he just honestly believed in love and was corageous enough to defy the convention which defied love.

Atheists take issue with God's immorality today in the same way. But Jesus wouldn't have gotten anywhere by denying God's existence. Instead he changed the world by "allying" himself with God while completely negating the law of God and instilling his own new law...Brilliant!

I think Jesus was pretty darn cool!

1.after the big cosmic explosion, the molecules "miraculously" came together to form life and then life evolved with no intelligence
2. God created the universe

do we have concrete solid proof for either of the two, or should we all turn agnostic until we know for sure?

I mean, don't you think humanity has already evolved (as for ways of being, thinking, etc.) enough to realize that catholicism is just a fairy-tale? How is it posible for a racional person to believe in that crap?

I'd like people in general to open their eyes and see that life doesn't always come in a package well wrapped to carry on the purse, things aren't that easy.

In my opinion all religions are just an easy way out to explain what we can't understand...

I fancy getting involved in a religion, but find Islam and Christianity a bit dull. Would anybody recommend Greek Gods, or maybe ancient Egyption ones (the cats and jackals were really cool). I enjoyed Xena, Warrier Princess, but for different reasons.
