Have you shook your presents, felt of them, smelled of them, examined the size? Is there one that you are overall curious about?
Now for the question:
Do you know which one you really want to open first?

In an answer to a previous question, one of the responses was that "your religion guides your morality"

Is that a true statement. If so, than atheist would lack morality, correct. And so would agnostics. I dont believe that to be the case, but do others? And if so, does that make religious people the only moral ones? I always thought morality was individually inacted, and socially imposed

I am moving my family (my son, mother, and myself) away from the city we live in. Right now there is a growing problem between hispanics, pacific islanders, and whites. There is alot of drugs, prostitution, and violence in our area. No we do not live in California or Nevada. I live in Utah and want to get out of dodge. I was thinking about moving to the south or mid-atlantic area. I am finishing up my education and will most likly not have any problems with employment but want to provide a better living situtation for my son. His elementary school is 80% hispanic (spanish speaking only) and the high school is 70% hispanic. I know there are alot of problems between the cultures in these schools. I do not want to sound biased but is the problem the same between African American students and White students still? If a school is 80% African American will I be looking at the same problems I have now with him? And, yes, I do know that problems are everywhere.

If you ignore the god, father and son babble, isn't Jesus basically a Buddhist? Do you think that Jesus used those words to be more easily accepted by his audience?

I am a dedicated Christian and have been all my life. But I am always finding myself drawn to the path of wicca. Things that witches do, like magic and astral projection, come very very natural to me, as well as clairvoyance.

So I'm wondering why, even though I am part of one religion, do I have a natural draw to another. Am I a natural witch or is a reincarnation thing. Any SERIOUS input would sure be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Or do you still believe that ignorance is the right path?

The USA is having as much sex at the same ages as other countries, but our pregnancy and STD rate is much higher than those reference countries.

Do you still think that our superficial and even non-existant, sexual education requirements in our public education system are wrong or adequate?

I already knew that we were doing our kids a great disservice, but YA is proof that ignorance is rampant and filled with negative consequences. Do you need further proof of our social education failure?

So if a guy sleeps with a guy they are gay, but he dates and has a sexual relationship with a woman, he is just hiding the gay inside? Seriously, woman turn me on, but I hate the commitment they want, sommeday I want kids and the married life but for now I just want to party it up and have some fun, guys just want to get off so its easier, so I don't consider myself gay, bi or straight I am just slutty (semi quoted from Margaret Cho). Why is the system so flawed?

I'm LDS, that means Mormon... same thing. My mom tells me about the Joseph Smith History etc.. I understand it yes, but my mom says this is the only true Church, the others are false. Well, I told her "no, are church is not the true Church in the world, there are other religions like Buddhism, Paganism that they are good too." I don't believe that there is any true religion out there, we all have different beliefs.

I explained that to her, and he points out scriptures, and explains why this religion is wrong, and that religion is wrong... I'm saying doesn't matter, people have the right to choose any religion that best describes who they are, and that fits their personality.

I'm LDS, and I'm best friends with an Atheist, and I respect his beliefs and he respects mine, however, my mom feels uncomfortable having him over... I love my mom, but she just doesn't understand that tolerance is the key to the truth.

It seems like it's just a bunch of really long personal ads for people that are really self involved. Why would I care enough to sit around and read about people's favorite color, coctail etc?? Am I missing something?

The Catholic church has been historically present within some of the greatest turning points of history. The economics would be staggering, and the current climate would be an interesting environment for such a question.

...to give someone you know can only have limited amounts of sugar, a gift of cookies, cake ect? First I think no, they are the ones who monitor their sugar intake, so they decide for their selfs if they can indulge, so somthing small should be, ok. Then I think, but is it inconsiderate of me to tempt them?
Anyway tis the season of cookies, so, what do you think?
