Or do you still believe that ignorance is the right path?

The USA is having as much sex at the same ages as other countries, but our pregnancy and STD rate is much higher than those reference countries.

Do you still think that our superficial and even non-existant, sexual education requirements in our public education system are wrong or adequate?

I already knew that we were doing our kids a great disservice, but YA is proof that ignorance is rampant and filled with negative consequences. Do you need further proof of our social education failure?

Of course we need to upgrade and better educate ourselves. That's easier said then done. We cannot stress enough times the importance of practicing safe sex, educating yourself on sexual precautions etc...but then we still have people riding without protection, being promiscious and then looking like Boo Boo the fool when they end up pregnant or the recipient of an unwanted STD.

People have to take the initative and educate themselves but sadly too many are happier being ignorant or practicing a 'don't ask - don't tell policy' when it comes to sexual education. And then when they finally decide to step up and learn something its either because they've had a health/pregnancy scare or all-in-all its simply too late.

Mate... I'm reading the same book and oddly enough am on the same page!.....One sentence - remove religious PC from education, and you have the beginnings of correcting as you say a major "disservice"
