I am a jodo shinshu buddhist. I have always thought that there was a possibility that the teachings of Jesus could have been an import from India from the Gandhara kingdom; transmission resulting from the hellenism of Alexander's conquests.

What is the connection between Jesus, Buddhism, and Jews? There is no correlation here. I do not understand.

Did JC know about Buddhism? Maybe JC doesn't have a lot of history in the area because he travelled around?

so you now realize that spiritual seekers find similar things, very intereting. Note they do find something and not nothing.
There might have been an element of trickery. He ordered them to take His truth to others but they decided to keep it and not do that job they were assigned deciding instead they were special (chosen) and wanted to remain special. Therefor He (i think) presented as one who they would not accept and then He could justly give their job and chosenous to others. Kind of an up front tricky. I love that about Him.
