Far too much according to my credit card bill when it arrives on my doorstep in January. But I enjoyed it and you only live once ! ! !

I'm buying for my bf, my dad (the adults draw names in my immediate family) and my two nephews...I went a little over my budget at $600. I only planned to spend $500 at the most! The way I see it - Christmas only comes once a year...why not go all out if you can?

Time or money. I too spend too much of both. This year will cap out at $1500. Then again maybe its because I am blessed with friends and family.

My husband and I spend between $1,000 - 1,500 on each other, 4 kids, my mother and my husband's 2 sisters. This doesn't include the endless supply of food & drink that we buy for parties and such.

I would say that is too much. I'm sure you spend on them for birthdays, mother's day, father's day, anniversary's...don't need to over do it for Christmas.
