I'm guessing their numbers would dwindle down fast..because nowadays "you don't have to be a disciple" all you have to do is go to church once a week...isn't that right Christians? = )

many who attend "chruch" once a week do not even follow him now.... His rules are the same now as they were then... It is all or nothing.... you either follow fully or you do not... and you do not even have to "attend" a church to be a follower of Jesus The Christ... where ever Two or more are gathered in His Name that is where The Chruch is.

Your absolutely right! Just like most people rejecting Jesus then, they reject him now. In Jesus sermon on the mount he told how many would say to him in that day "...did we not prophecy..etc..in you name" but he rejects them, because they really weren't doing his will. He also said that his true disciples would be no part of the world, and hated. Also that broad and spacious is the road leading to destruction. We can thus discern that the majority of people would thus reject Jesus. It is clearly not enough to go to church once a week; just like Jesus disciples, we need to do the will that Jesus set out for us to do.

First of all going to church once or 20 times a week does make you Christian.,second if we ever make a time machine that is exactly where i want to Go, To walk with Jesus would be the ultimate.

Very few, because if Jesus were alive today he would still hangout with the oppressed and despised...

The homosexuals and the drug addicts
The prostitutes and the homeless
The hippies and the geeks

Jesus would hang out with all the people today's church ignores, banishes and condemns; and Jesus would show them love, acceptance and grace.

All I know is that is must have been awesome to walk along side Jesus the way they were able to do when He taught, and then was crucified for our sins. But we are going to be a witness to something greater than that in our life time.. And that is going to be Jesus return for His Church/bride! Praise the Lord!!

True Christians have confessed Jesus Christ their Lord and follow Him today. So to the Christian, their Lord is accessable 24/7. No one can take us out of our Lords hand.

Oh I do hope so. That would be one in the eye for the church(s) plural or all religions. I never thought they had anything for me let alone peace of mind or heart.

Very few of them; just the liberals would. Jesus pissed off conservatives when he walked the earth. Chances are, he'd do the same today.

If there are enough people to travel to protest the funerals of gay soldiers, then there are enough for anything.
