....is the belief in evolution a religion?

You have to have faith to believe that humans evolved from an ape-like ancestor, just like you have to have faith to believe the Son of God will give humans eternal life right?

I go the gym on a regular basis, and I vary my times that I go, not always at the same time everyday. There is this small group of what I call 'soccer moms' that all seem to know each other well and sort of hang out together, work out along side each other, etc. They're probably all in their late 30's early 40's, and I swear they have to be some of the most obnoxious women on the face of the Earth. They scream (Ok, don't scream but yell LOUD enough that I can easily hear them over the music playing on my IPOD.) to each other from way across the room constantly and are just really loud and annoying to me. In a way, I feel this is rude. I realize this is a gym and not church or the library or something, but is this considered appropriate behavior? They almost seem like teenage girls crying out for attention. What are your thoughts?

Micah 5:12 (NIV) I will destroy your witchcraft, and you will no longer cast spells.
Exodus 20:7 (NIV) "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name

It is sobering to see how similar modern witchcraft (Wicca, or "white witchcraft") is to modern Christianity. Self-aware witches bless as well as curse, 'bind and loose', prophesy, pray, lay hands on, anoint with oil, etc. Some even consider themselves Christians with a superior understanding and power. A few even worship Jesus--along with a pantheon of other gods and goddesses--but totally reject the reality of Satan

Deuteronomy 18:10-11 (NIV) Let no one be found among you... who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or cast spells, or who is a medium or spiritist.

Jesus' miracles were done out of love in obedience to the Father. He did not do "miracles on demand" (see the temptation of Jesus in Mark 4:1-12. The temptation

I found a book in my mom's dresser called Children in Danger or something like that by Dr. James Dobson. Most of the things they wrote, especially about children and sex education. Has any one else read this book? Tell me your thoughts on it but I thought it was very ignorant.

Revelation 22:15 (NIV) Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

Matthew 7:22 (NEB) "Many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, cast out devils in your name, and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them to their face, 'I never knew you; out of my sight, you and your wicked ways!'"

Revelation 21:8 (NIV) But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death

Isaiah 57:1-5 (NIV) "The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Someone once said to me that she's praying for the dead to make it to heaven and she was "dead" serious. I was like, Uh, isn't it a bit too late for that person in the grave to do something about trying to make it to heaven? We got one shot and we might as well make it the best while we're living and can do something about it. AND, how can a dead person pray... (Mary mother of Jesus please pray for me?)
