In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus’ religious opponents came to arrest him. Peter tried to protect him with a sword, but Jesus said to Peter: “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword.” (Matthew 26:52)

Of course Jesus was a pacifist!!! What do you think "turn the other cheek" is? Second...God did not create people to kill each other, you need to read. The love thy neighbor is the golden rule personified. Don't treat anyone how you don't want to be treated. Respect everyone with the same respect you think you deserve.

Yes of course Jesus is a pacifist.
God didn't want or intended for us to kill each other. We did and still do that on our own. "Love thy Neighbor" meaning to love and respect other people not just your next door neighbor. Your neighbor is the student seated next to you in the class room, the passenger seated next to you in the bus, the car, the plane, or even the person seated next to you in the park. It is anyone around you is your neighbor. When you love another person, you wouldn't think of disrespecting them or think of harming them in any form, speech or action.

Jesus is not a pacifist in the way that you are thinking.

Matthew 10:34
Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Jesus is very war-like, but as pertaining to spiritual war.

God doesn't want us to hurt each other, but he wont stop us... He created us with a free will, so we can do what we want. Sadly, most people don't do the right thing.

I don't think pacifists use a whip to beat moneychangers out of temples.

He says turn the other cheek but he also says he brings the sword. I guess it depends on his mood.
