Question speaks for itself.

How should we approach the matter...Do we send them all home, let no more in...whats the right thing to do? Do we totally ignore their desire to have a better life, or is it we recognize that desire but we have to think about ourselves as well...What do you think? I'd appreciate ANYTHING whatsoever about the topic; any opinions, views, ANYTHING! thanks!

According to Eph. 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Also, why is this armor stressed, "Above all..."

I have heard this multiple times so I thought it was worth losing 5 points to bring it into the open. Pretty much because I feel sorry for the weakness of these arguments and don't want anyone to get embarassed in person using this, religous or not.

Faith is basically believing something without evidence.

Having faith that my car will start when I turn the key would be a completely incorrect, moronic statement. It is the complete opposite of faith. (although I can't drive yet) First of all I don't 'know' my car will start when I turn the key. I make an educated guess based on the fact that the car will start when I turn the key, lets say, about 39 out of 40 times. This is an observation, and based on this observation I come to conclusion it is probable for the car to start when i turn the key. This is a perfect example of a scientific conclusion. If I had a particularly bad car, lets say it starts about 1 out of 200 times..there would most likely be no such 'Faith'.

There are two different definitions of atheism floating around. Call me crazy, but I like to think when we are born we are not atheists or theists so the latter definition should be tossed out for not being specific. Animals do not believe in God, plants do not believe in God so are they atheist?

LBFM. Little Brown F. Machines

spinner:

A petite woman. Denoted as a joke, whereby the petite woman is so thin she is able to be mounted and spun in a circle on an erect penis.

woman/man that stands less than 5ft. 3in. Giving someone above average height the ability to have sex with them on their lap and possibly spinning them like a top.

WHAT DO Y'ALL LIKE ABOUT THIS??? I've been called a 'spinner' and found it insulting

I seriously know that yahoo answers has to be at least 80% christian- because whenever I ask a question about christianity I get bombarded by scripture. Ok, tell me is this doesnt make sense first, in a debate, until we bot agree that the Bible is fact, it cannot be used in an arguement. With that said- and I am not being confrontational, I want serious logical answers, there has to be one that doesnt involve a scripture quote. Why does the Bible leave out Jesus's life from birth to age twelve and from age twelve to about 33. If jesus was the son of God wouldn't t have been, i dunno a little relevant. Why is it a secret???

The Good News was that Jesus (God in the flesh)atoned for sin otherwise there would be no Christians only Jews. So in what way was the Gospel changed and if the Qu'ran ever agreed wiht the Gospel it must have agreed that Christ atoned for sin.

After K. Richards "apologized" to blacks using us whities favorite black represenative (we like him when we need to apologize but c complain that he is loud at other times when he's not useful.)

Anyway, Mr. T. was ticked off by a bunch of annoying white kids during an autograph session and spoke his mind. He desperately needs to apologize but unlike most ethnic groups we whities don't have a representative whereas every ethnic celebraty is some kind of magic ambassidor but Al Sharpton is the key guy and Jessie Jackson.

(Nobody apologizes to Michael Jackson any more cause of the rumour thing and mabye with all the plastic surgery we whites don't think he's black enough.)

'And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon." (Qur'an 25:4-5)

What do you think the ideal community would hold and make you decide to move there? In other words, if someone decided to make a town in the middle of norwhere, what would the community have to hold (aside from jobs, that's a given) in order for you to think it was the ideal place to live? ( I hope won't have to re-phrase this question in the future)

to God, that you have trouble with? Why do you believe that the Creator of the Universe is subject to the laws He gave the Creation?

Are you on equal footing with you boss at work? Of course not.

I just don't understand how you can accuse God. HE IS GOD; you don't have a right to question that which contains infinite knowledge.

If you don't think like this, or it doesn't apply to you in some way, then please ignore. I'm trying not to generalise, and be PC.
