to God, that you have trouble with? Why do you believe that the Creator of the Universe is subject to the laws He gave the Creation?
Are you on equal footing with you boss at work? Of course not.
I just don't understand how you can accuse God. HE IS GOD; you don't have a right to question that which contains infinite knowledge.
If you don't think like this, or it doesn't apply to you in some way, then please ignore. I'm trying not to generalise, and be PC.

You all are correct about the wording of the question...it should have been for those that question God's authority or right to it. Thanks for pointing that out.

Dude, why don't you try believing in God for five minutes (I mean really try) and see what happens?

People are selfish and as such don't want to believe in anything or anyone who is more important then they think they are.
The truth is that we are all expendable.
God created us and He can just as easily create more of us.
The quicker we all learn that and get right with the Lord the better off we and the rest of the world will be.
Right now we are just a bunch of spoiled brats that try to tell other (fill in your demonination, religion or lack thereof here) "Dad likes me best."
If they don't believe in anyone higher than themselves then they just belittle those of us who choose to listen to God, follow God and keep His commandmants.

your post includes many assumptions that your target audience does not share.
Your interpretation of god many be right for you, and I respect that. Your interpretation is at odds with my own. Because I have a brain, I have a right to question anything; that's how one learns.
To you, god is apparently a boss - again, that is your right to think so. To me, divinity is an intricate system of which we are all a part - human, animal, plant, stone.
To me, infinite knowledge is not a treasure to keep on a shelf and wonder about; it is simething to examine, to re-examine, and to unravel and learn, a little piece at a time. Even if I only uncover the tniiest fraction of the puzzle, I have tried my best and accomplished what I could.

I think you missed the most important implication of the 'don't believe in God' part. There is no need for accusation or question, nor is there an issue of equal footing with something nonexistant.

If my boss at work wrongs me there is a system of checks and balances to protect me--god has done a lot of wrong to the human race, including killing us off twice, and nothing can stop him--that is not a good thing

You wrote "HE IS GOD; you don't have a right to question that which contains infinite knowledge." Oh yes, we do have that right. We are all pieces of "God". Without "God" we would not exist, but without us, "God" would not exist. Hello? (The real)"God" is supposed to make sense. Through science and discovery we can know "God"; so-called holy books are just the dreams and imaginings of ancient men.

Your comparison only makes sense to someone who believes in God. Try this. Don't believe in God for five minutes. Really try. Then re-ask that question for yourself.

Well, the idea of not believing in God precludes any evaluation of God's relative value to humans since the factor of God would be assumed to not exist.

It is not God that is being accused, it is Christians. They say "the loving God" but their God is a punishing God. They say "God's love is unconditional" But their bible is a book full of conditions. If Christians would just say "Our God has condemned the mass of humanity to eternal punishment and we worship him because we don't want to go to hell', I Don't think they would get any arguments.

I don't accuse god of anything; god does not exist, it would be like accusing Harry Potter of something.
