The firey darts are not unlike what you see here. Non believers cussing us out, calling us crazy, stupid, idiots... making hateful and usually blasphemous comments about our God. The Shield is above all nessisary to keep the darts from penatrating. If you let them penatrate, it may cause you to throw darts right back or even possibly believing their statements.

Ephesians 6:12 NIV
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
As to the other questions: John Wesley's Explanatory Notes read (referencing the shield of faith, or faith in itself),
"Above or over all - As a sort of universal covering to every other part of the armour itself, continually exercise a strong and lively faith. This you may use as a shield, which will quench all the fiery darts, the furious temptations, violent and sudden injections of the devil."
In short, it is stressed as "above all" because we have faith as a shield for all the other parts of our armor. With that faith, or shield, we can quench the fiery arrows of the Devil when he tries to make us doubt our salvation or God's Word, or destroy our peace. It is not blind faith either. It is faith based on a solid rock. It's like when you are flying in a plane, and there happens to be a little turbulence. It can be startling, perhaps a bit frightening, but we still can have faith that we will get to our destination. We know that, as startling as it is, it's only turbulence. If we can have faith in a plane, then how much more so can we have faith in the solid rock of our salvation, Jesus Christ? By faith in Him, we can be more than conquerors of every doubt or fear. I hope this helps, God bless!

The fiery darts are all the things that Satan will use to make us fall away from our relationship with God.
The phrase "above all" is stressed meaning, that all the pieces of the armor are needed to keep us protected from Satan's attacks. If we miss putting on just one piece on armor, then Satan has an opening where he can use an area of weakness in our lives to cause us to stumble or fall away, especially if we are not well grounded in the word of God, or in Fellowship with other Christians.
We need to have that protection and fellowship or we will fall for anything and our Christian walk will mean little and our witness will come into question.
The wicked are those who hate christians and those who stand against what you and I believe in.

Fiery darts are anything that would take away your faith since faith is what the shield is supposed to be. Lies are a big part of that and so is a lot of what you might read on this stream in Y!A... anything that would cause your faith to falter.
"Above all" - probably because we tend to forget that this is a spiritual war... that Satan is waging a war for the souls of humankind and he wants to keep Christians as ineffective and cowering as he can... doubting themselves and their faith, bogged down in "rabbit trails" and side issues. The more we can be distracted and unbelieving, the less effective we will be in this spiritual war.
Stand firm in your faith!

Dear Tamil,
In studying the Bible, one must follow the rules that God has stated. 1. Christ spoke in parables (Mark 4:33, 34). 2. We are to compare Spiritual things with Spiritual things (1 Corinthians 2:13). 3. The whoel Bible is the word of God and everything is important, even the numbers (Isaiah 28:13).
Ephesians 6 is very interesting chapter. Every piece of armor is metaphoric for salvation. The sword of the Spirit is the word of God--the Bible. And who is the living Word of God?(John 1;1; 14). If you are not saved (born-again), you do not possess any of these pieces of armor, which all point to Christ. Remember...the battle is the Lord's.

Human hatred can never penetrate the armor of God. It is the human mind that is the staple of the wicked, and its seeming evil is the dart. The wicked is every human who has not recognized this fact and so remains deceived. As you begin to understand, the wickedness is subdued and cast out.

We are warriors so we need armor. the darts are the insults, the temptations, the attacks of the evil one. He uses his devils to provoke us to anger and tempt us with the usual stuff, lust, greed, etc. These so called atheist are his toys for attacking us. His favorite dart is discourgement, he loves to use it because if he can get you down, he can be more effective with all the other temptations.
He wants to destroy you, so suit up and enjoy the battle. He will do all he can to take you out, but relax, God is on your side.
"If God is for us, who can stand against us"
no one can, so put on your armor and kick some butt!

God's enemies, human and spiritual, will attack you, with words, temptations, and maybe more, to try to destroy your faith, and your resolve to do God's will. Those are the fiery darts.
Your strong faith in God is the shield that will help you fend off those attacks, and stay close to God.
Remember, it's dangerous to try to stand alone in a fight. Stay close to your Christian brothers and sisters, who can help you be strong in this world.

the wicked are anyone trying to make you do things God would not want you to do. tempters, sometimes they are your friends, sometimes you don't know them. The firey darts are temptations, music , movies, activities that keep you from doing God's work. If you are reading your scriptures, praying, attending your church meetings you are putting on the "armor' of God and are more in touch with God and less likely to respond to the temptations in the world
