I have wanted to learn French for years. I speak, read, and write Spanish very well in addition to my native language, English. I've bought a couple of different programs to help me learn French, but find I'm not motivated to use them because of their repetitiousness. For a short time this year, I had a friend in Belgium who was emailing in French, her language, but hasn't replied to my emails for some time now. I seriously want to learn French and get really motivated when I have someone to exchange ideas with in that language. I am very much a beginner. Is anyone interested and willing to communicate by email, later in chats, in French, helping me to learn the language?

Leviticus, chapter 20 texts from 10-21

In these verses, God clearly explained the illegal relationships.

what my doubt is:

Genesis, chapter 4 text 1,2,8

Adam and Eve begot 2 sons (Cain, Abel). Cain killed his brother Abel (see the valid reason).

Genesis, Chapter 4 text 15,16,17

In these verses you can find, God's punishment to Cain.

In text 17 clearly says that Cain was not with their family, but he knew his wife(!!!!), who was she, from where she came.

1) Is it possible to built a city for just 3 persons???

Genesis, Chapter 4 text 25,26

These verses clearly says about the thrid son of the first man and woman. But everyone got married(!!!).

2) First of all i want to know where these womens came from?

3) God gave some instructions but he made some creations to violate the same rules which he gave to Moses. Is it not contradictory.

Any one please explain based on Bible, don't speculate.

Im interested in Buddhism and last week I bought a happy Buddha statue. Since we have had it in the house though things keep going wrong. I think it is just coincidence myself, as im not supersticious, although my girlfriend is.

She is now worrying because she heard they can bring bad luck. Is this true?

Now we are arguing because she wants it off the display shelf and out of the house :( and i want to keep it.

They don't believe that the Bible was written by God, and subsequently don't believe in Hell. Why would it affect them at all, or rather, what is the point of doing it?

When someone asks a serious question about the existence of God, many believers rush to quote the Bible. FYI: The Bible was written by humans, not by God. So when a question is asked about religion, quoting the Bible is like saying: "It is true because someone else said it or wrote it". They will then say that those people were chosen by God. How do you know? It was just other humans that said that they were chosen by God. If the miracles or magical events are presented as evidence, then David Copperfield is a God or a chosen one as well. My point is that all that we have on God is by other humans saying it. So quoting the Bible seems to me as a debatable point, not the ultimate proof of anything. Does quoting the Bible really prove anything?

It is downright MURDER!!!! People say it is JUST a fetus, but it is a real human being who doesn't have the ability to fight for it's life. Those who say that "it is my body" need to realise that the baby isn't your body, it even has a totally different bloodstream and thought process. If others new the ways babies are aborted, they would think again. I think the method I hate the most is the hysterotomy (Doctors perform a C-section type procedure where the baby is born and then put aside to die). A mother can abort her child up to a day before it is due. There are accounts of nurses who heard the baby's screaming and crying , but had to leave it there to die. The D and E method is where the doctor's dismember the baby and suck it out of the womb. There is yet another method where they poisen the child, then one where the actually cut them into pieces and suck them out of the womb. The D and x method, a recent one, is one where they crush the baby's skull.

I used to think that they were an automatic condemnation to hell, hence the word, deadly, but have now, through this forum, I have come to find out that they are just as easily forgiven as any other sin--so why do they have a special distinction of being deadly?

I'm seriously confused on this one, not trying to bash anybody's beliefs, I really want to understand this better rather than just ignoring it and blowing it off

Moses came closest to seeing God in his human form, he was sent to the very back of a cave and told not to look, that was likely for his own protection. He was glowing when he came walking with the Ten Commandments.

I hate when whites ask me why do I wear weaves...it's not because I want to look white but because I can. Whites wear hair extentions, it's the same thing. Too make your hair look longer. I'm getting sick and tired of reading these posts saying that Blacks need weave or are trying to look white. There is several black women who hair is naturally long...all black women do not have curly hair. Just like you have whites who have curly hair and straightened it and those who have natural straight hair. I am very tired of the jealousy that is posted about blacks. In that case we should ask why do whites tan...are they trying to be darker like blacks?? No we don't think that way...

Some of the Ten Commandments weren't meant to be followed literally. Here are my examples:
Thou shall not kill--A young man enters the military to support his country. His patrol is caught in an ambush. In order to save himself and his fellow soldiers, he has to shoot back, which means he will most likely kill one or more of the enemy. Is he doing something wrong in God's eyes? Or let's say a guy with a knife is running towards your kid with intent to kill and you had a gun. Would God be angry if you killed him? Would it be a sin?
Honor your Mother and Father--This means respect your parents, listen to them and love them. But what if those parents abused the child physically, mentally, or sexually? Does the child still have to honor them? Absolutely not! I believe that God would not be angry or even consider it a sin if the child dishonors their parents.
I'm a religious person and I read the Bible from time to time, but I believe that God knows sometimes exceptions are necessary.

Sorry if silly sounds a bit harsh but why dont religious peopel critically think instead getting caught up in the emotional messages of sin, hell fire, Gods love- fear based as well of course joy/ love based messages.

Why dont people stop and analyze things or at least study history-
I am not againt religion i think religion is someones right but I am definatley againt peopel who cant think for themselves and believe things just because someoen told them too.

-A former christian. Persident of the Bible Club in my highschool.
Do your homework "The Crucifixion and Ressurection was the biggest hoax in history" History is told by the winners.

Sorry if this offends you- really I remember when I was a Christian I used to argue with peopel like me- lifes funny

Oh, and I already know the answer as to why people believe in things blindly but I just wanted to hear some people's views- LET SLAMMING BEGIN!
