I used to think that they were an automatic condemnation to hell, hence the word, deadly, but have now, through this forum, I have come to find out that they are just as easily forgiven as any other sin--so why do they have a special distinction of being deadly?

I'm seriously confused on this one, not trying to bash anybody's beliefs, I really want to understand this better rather than just ignoring it and blowing it off

For me kicking a dog without reason is a sin just as potent as any other. But I'm glad people follow the 7 deadly sin because if they do they won't kick the dog anyway. Sounds funny i know.

Sin is sin. I don't see anywhere in the bible where it catergorizes sin. If you a paper clip thief at work or a serail killer, God sees those both as sin. But thank God, there is a plan of salvation so that you and your sin can be hidden in Jesus Christ.

they may too be forgiven however no they are NOT just as easily forgiven. let me use this example: it is easier to forgive someone who, say, pulled out in front of you driving than it would be to forgive that same person if he drove over your dog. right? not that its the way things are going to be on "judgement " day but im sure you get my point. good ?.
