I have learned that Hindus also believe in One Supreme God but my question is are all the other Gods lesser in comparison to the supreme God or are they same as the Supreme God but just exist in different forms?

i believe he exists expect i dont think he is nice at all; with the way the worlds is he seems more likely to be a complete jerk. doesnt care about anyone at all and just uses us for his own entertainment

My hubby and I are having a hard time getting in the Holiday spirit these last couple years. BOTH of our parents have become Snow Birds so they are in Florida during the holidays while we are here in Chicago. It isn't possible to spend the holidays together with them. But since they moved things have been so different around the holidays. They were the ones that hosted the family parties and so on. Our house isn't big enough to do that. And the brothers and sisters don't want to host a family party. We don't have work parties to go to, and our friends don't really get into having a holiday party. So how do we make the holidays a joyous occasion again? How do we make it still feel like Christmas? We still try to do little things with our teenage son, but it just isn't doing it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Youd think I would know how a girl's mind works, being as I'm one myself, but I'm so confused right now. I emailed this girl from school right, and I thought we hit it off quite well bc it only took her a day to reply. She was polite, answered my questions, and even complimented me. After that, I wrote back the next day...still casual, but I asked a few more questions to get to know her better. They werent personal or anything but I definitely tried to sound like I was interested in her.

Here's the thing: she hasn't replied in almost a week. Did I miss something here? I thought she was interested too by the way she replied. Was she maybe turned off by how fast I replied back, or is she just playing games with me, trying to get me to chase? Bc I would, I think she may be worth it. I thought she wouldve replied by now. So what's going on in her mind? I never thought it would be so hard to figure out what a girl is thinking. Should I email her again? Thanks in advance!

My husband had a premonition of driving and dragging our son behind his suv on the highway. He ended up calling me and asking me where our son was I think he really thought he was dragging him behind the car at that moment. Does anyone know what that means or if it means anything at all.

The family beliefs are Muslim, the parents are seperated, but the father learned that when the mother moved into a house, that the children started to get hit and beat up.

In a Safeway store...the boy actually was lifted off the ground and was thrown to the ground. When the father learned what was going on...he went to the house, he said he saw great fear in his ex wife. He got a recording of someone saying verses from the Koran, and he played it in his sons room, that night...the spirit attacked his little girl and the mother in a different bedroom (where the recording was not playing) She had blood all over her. So, he is getting a recording for them. As I write this.

The son says he sees something with "white wings" comming out of the closet.

Any idea of what is going on?

Help.

I am Protestant, but at some point I began to question the ideas of Evangelicalism, especially the notion of daily Bible reading and devotional. I certainly think it is a good thing to do, but I also recognize that it has only been within the last 200 years, and especially in western countries, that it has been possible for each and every Christian to own a copy of the Bible. Not until the 16th century were Bibles published to any extent. All before that were hand written and belonged to monasteries. This means that most all Christians in history did not read a Bible as their primary method of personal spiritual growth. What do you think? Is the Evangelical focus on personal Bible reading overstated or misplaced? Thanks.

My Realtor just recently helped me buy my first rental property, and it has gone extremely well. I'm quite happy with everything she did for me, so I want to get her a nice present for Christmas.

I'm thinking either a fruit basket or box of chocolates and a book that I'm also giving to some other people this year. How does this sound?

Okay, say life DID form out of chemicals
(even though the chance of that is less likely that the words "To be or not to be, that is the question" forming when you drop Scrabble letters on a table).
Where did those chemicals come from? Had they always been there? Was the universe ALWAYS here? The world had to have been created at sometime, or it would be eternal, and be like a god. Whatever you say, someone can always say, but where did THAT come from? Eventually, you'll have something created out of nothing. Isn't this evidence enough for belief in an Intelligent Designer (we call Him God)?

Any thoughts and appropriate answers welcome.

I am a Christian since birth. I have been taught that for someone to truly choose to be a Christian and sincerely mean it, they must first go through some period of doubt/trial and that this is normal. However, I seem to be rapidly progressing downward in a cycle that I can't seem to break out of. I am a freshman in college, and even though I ask God every day to help me, I have no will power and I feel sick and I'm starting to hate myself. I have gone from being a very nice girl to almost having sex with my bf, masturbating & watching porn DAILY, and now Ive recently begun to notice that girls are attractive to me too. I know I'm being very emotional and that this will probably attract jokes, etc., but I'm totally serious and I need help.
