haha this explains it.

I was going into the store and there was this salvation army lady with the bell thing outside and i as passed by she was like MERRY XMAS, and i just kinda shrugged her off, because i didnt have any change, then even in a louder voice she says, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!, and i was like what was the point of that if it didnt work the first time.

now i know why she said it, thank you.

but no i wouldnt get offended, even though i dont celebrate xmas,

legally it falls under freedom of speech.

No I wouldn't. The person would have meant no harm by saying that and I would just smile adn say thankyou. I would be offended if someone told me to get """#@%, but not from a harmless merry xmas.

No. People who are offended at being told "Merry Christmas" are just looking for something to be annoyed about.

I am sick, sick, sick of all these idiots who want to do away with wishing others a Merry Christmas. How far are we supposed to go in letting these fools make non-issues into issues? Can't we stand up and tell them to get the hell lost?

MERRY CHIRSTMAS EVERYONE!

No. I think the great majority of this country celebrates the holiday, especially the stores, so lots of people are saying it anyways.

It used to but now I celebrate the holiday even though I am not Christian. I only partake in the non-religous aspects.

No way!! I love this time of year, and it's about the spirit rather than the politically correctness of it!
