isn't the Bible suppose to be the words of God revealed to Jesus? isn't the Bible suppose to be shut down (no one write anything on it) after Jesus was gone? but what i saw is there were people even describing the crossification of Jesus, and people were writing in the Bible after Jesus was gone. and worse than that John who was a preacher came years later after the crossification and then someone decide to put his words inside the Bible.

and my question is, is the Bible suppose to be the word of God or a note-book anyone can put his inspiration & thoughs in it?

I feel so sorry for him and his family. I'm pretty sure it's hard to be in that kind of cold freezing atmosphere for 3 days with only tennis shoes, jeans, and a big jacket, and no head gear. I hope he's okay and find him as soon as possible!

Hi, Guys. Please help me with my Socialogy project: Man- the Nature of the Beast.
If you were to receive a e-mail from a girl who thought your address was for a calendar contest and offered to send you pics of herself ... assumed that you believed from her message that she was on the level ... would you
a) Reply and let her know that she had the wrong address
b) Reply that she had the wrong address, but ask for pics anyway.
c) Pretend to be the contest and request pics.

The most simplest way to explain religion is to look at our commericialized Christmas and Santa. Santa represents the short-term religion of any child. A being that watches you all year long (1 year=1 lifetime). If you are good (follow the laws of the religion) you get rewarded (gifts=heaven). If you are bad, you are punished (coal=hell). I was just thinking of how this is the most simpest way to explain religion. Do you agree (even if you don't agree with religion, or Santa) that if explaining to a child, this would make it home easier then really explaining God and heaven?

There is this "creature" of a person (to put it nicely) who I was once former roommates with, who has taken it upon herself to go and tell everyone in a gay chat room personal details about my life. Mind you, this happened 3 years ago, and the information she is spreading she's only doing so through hear say. She has NO real knowledge of the situation. I've tried ignoring it, placing her on ignore, but it still doesn't stop OTHER people from getting a bad image of me based on the lies she is spreading about me. Normally, I wouldn't care what people think, but some of these people on this chat room have met in real life, and there's some friends I've had on there for over 7 years, that I'm planning on meeting in the near future. What can I do?

I'm talking about myself in American Sign Language class today. I've looked up all the words I don't know so I can practice and learn them. I want to say that I've studied Spanish, Japanese, Esperanto, and ASL. However, I can't find the word "Esperanto" in my ASL dictionary.

Does anyone have a link to an ASL picture dictionary that includes "Esperanto"?

the reason i'm asking is this because of a few other questions i've asked where it seems as though some people all but demand i should turn to god to solve my problems, otherwise my life will be miserable, i won't find love, and i 'm going to hell. i'm pretty sure that that's happened to other people as well..so if it has, go ahead and tell me about it, i'm interested to hear it. sorry but telling me i'm going to hell doesn't make me want to get back on the ship i jumped from lol.
