Hi, Guys. Please help me with my Socialogy project: Man- the Nature of the Beast.
If you were to receive a e-mail from a girl who thought your address was for a calendar contest and offered to send you pics of herself ... assumed that you believed from her message that she was on the level ... would you
a) Reply and let her know that she had the wrong address
b) Reply that she had the wrong address, but ask for pics anyway.
c) Pretend to be the contest and request pics.
Please give reasons, not just a, b or c. Thanks so much for the help!

Hmm, tough question for several reasons: 1. I would never believe anyone offering to send me pictures was on the level so that assupmtion is way out the window.
2. Without having some solid proof of a person's identy, I would never reply, if I even read her email in the first place.
My answer would probably be D - no reply at all, but would wish for an automated way to bounce her email as well as all other spam back to it's source....

Oooohhh that is a hard one. I would have a hard time not trying to see those pics. My conscience would bug me pretty bad. I guess I would rationalize that she wouldn't really care that much since she is try to get her images printed publicly anyways. What is one random dude? But, I would also be way skeptical of that situation, I don't know what she could do to make me think that she was really on the level. I would probably do C wishing I had done A then do B afterwards.

B. It would be wrong to mislead her. If she intends the pictures for publication in a calendar, and wants to say "thank you" for pointing out the error, the choice would be hers whether to send me the pictures, too.

I would choose A. This is because im an honest guy and i wouldent want to miss lead her like that thats just rude. but if she still offerd me the pics i wouldent mind them lol.

I would go for c for awhile and then eventually tell her, but I would keep her pics private.
