Actually it is NORAD - North American Recon And Defense out of Colorado. They are the same people who track the satellites, etc. for the government.

Yeah, but I think you have to have Presidential clearance and help from the Easter Bunny (who works on his ground control, there isn't much for the Easter Bunny to do at this time of year) to pick up his signal. One of the most important things George W will do on Jan. 20 is hand over the codes for tracking Santa to Pres. Obama. It's called The "Football" People always say it's the codes for nuclear weapons. That too, but mostly it's Santa's coordinates. Our local tv stations do every year, but I'm a little suspicious when different stations have him in different locations. I don't know. I don't think they are tracking the real Santa, but you never know.

Officially, it's NORAD who tracks Santa on Christmas Eve. NORAD is located right here in Colorado, in Colorado Springs. You can find out more about how they track Santa by going to www.santa-claus.com.

Well, it used to be Norad, but starting this year it will be the Dept. of Homeland Security, who will force Santa's sleigh down, have him declared a terrorist suspect and bundled off to Gitmo.

I hope you got whatever you wanted last year, because Santa won't be sneaking into American airspace THIS year.

All hail the Chief!

NORAD is in on the joke every year and inform everyone where Santa is. It's a great idea and lots of fun for the kids!
