Ok to me a FEW minutes means within a 20 minute time frame.
So at work in school, the management of the apartments, people who I deal with in repairs, and people I deal with professionally for business, all say "I will call you RIGHT BACK in a few minutes" and I wait and I wait and they never do. When I CALL THEM BACK, they act like nothing happened. Why doesn't anyone keep their word in calling back? don't they know I am paying them money for business? Why do people lie and say this? If they can't call me back in a few minutes then why don't they just say that?

Satan attacks our minds, where Jesus works on our hearts. I'm keeping my mind SHUT and my heart OPEN!

Jesus said "Open your eyes and your heart....not your mind" I feel He said this so we would find Him, not all the junk of the world. Nor the tricks of Satan. Satan can only get to our minds, not our heart. An open mind may find alot of great information, many theories, many wonderful conversations. An open heart will find Jesus.

So is your heart open....or your mind?

Some people process information better than others. In order to be good at something one must be around that subject constantly.

In the section "Storing God's Word in Our Minds", I personally gained the knowledge that eventhough I do not study scripture constantly that does not mean that I do not believe in God. According to the text it says it is easier to remember something if it is associated with using pictures. I find this very true because I can retain scripture just by picturing some of the stories from the Bible by placing it with a story.

Or are you so close-minded that you would exclude the possibility that God does, in fact, exist?

Perhaps religion has "done a number" on God, and cast a shadow over his reality, but does man's imperfection have to cloud your judgement? Or can you really be open-minded enough to allow the possibility of a God's existence that is beyond your experience and reason?

Hi all.
I joined a club, and started talking to the boss. She was always looking at me when i was there. Then she found out about my sexuality. After that she started flirting with me, for over a year and i didn't do anything back. Then i dissapeard for the last quater of that year. This year i came back and she was very pleased to see me again. She started flirting again and i ignored her. Later on in the year she asked me to work for her. i agreed. She asked me if i was going away after next year and i said yes, then she told me she'll follow me. One day she came to me to fetch some of the papers and told me about her boyfriend, for the first time. She always told me she is so alone and now she tells me she has had a boyfriend? She then asked me if she could give me a hug, and then i said no. Then she came forward and hugged me for a long time. then i pushed her away and she did it again. When she let go of me she tried to kiss me and i pushed her away

My parents want me to marry an Asian girl, but I'm an Asian-American guy who was born and raised in the US.

Anyway, I've mostly been involved in relationships with American women and will probably marry one.

Is there any duty that I need to fill for the Asian race/culture, like my parents are implying? I seriously thought who you like is more important, not their ethnicity.

Why are so many Christian vs Atheism debates so focused on what will happen to us after we die? Like "when you die and don't go to heaven then u will know god iz real. lol". Is that really why you are Christian? Because you're afraid of going to hell? It seems alot of people say they have Faith but it's more of a "just-in-case" kind of thing. I would think that learning our lesson in THIS life and THIS place is a bit more important than what happens later. Everybody, Christian or not, can do that.

If so, do you think it played a major or minor role in your life as of right now? For me, I think everyone would have been allot happier if they had just divorced or even got counseling but nothing ever happened, and to this day they are still together and miserable.

I like to think of Angels, imagine their conversations, ponder myself with ideas of their gentle personas, do things for them, listen for them, look for them and sometimes hope for them to help me recognize my blessings and be instinctive intuatively with them. I know they are God's messengers but I want them to hang out with me too. Is such a thing harmful or benificial?

I don't understand how this is a charity and where the money goes. These people getting the homes still have to pay. Anyone can get a home with no money down, so that is not a factor. The payments on these homes are regular payments. I know someone who got a home in NC and her payment is only 100 less than my house payment and she got her home ten years ago.

Also, they have no rights to the houses and cannot sell them without paying back.

I don't even get what the big deal is. I think it is mostly the people getting a kick out of building the home for them. Other than that, I would not give any money to it unless I am further enlightened to anything else.
