What is like to be the minister of nothing? Does nothing matter? I have nothing against them. Should we care for nothing? Afterall, nothing can help us. I believe in nothing. Do you?

Nothing is sacred. Therefore... I speak of nothing every chance I get. I preach of nothing. I live with nothing. I ask for nothing daily. If I receive nothing, then why would I ever want for anything but the nothing I'm praying to receive. I look forward to nothing, therefore, nothing ever disappoints me. Nothing ventured... nothing gained. I aspire to be nothing. Consequently, I am nothing. Therefore... I am sacred.

Here's what I consider sacred: Freedom. The Constitution. Personal liberty. Individual human dignity (even if that means having screwball beliefs in the supernatural). Personal integrity. Personal responsibility. Compassion.
Religion has no corner on the sacred, nor is religion or spiritual belief necessary to be a kind, compassionate human being.

People who believe in nothing usually are pretty good at lip service. They are trying to convince themselves as much as anyone else that nothing is right. They know nothing, they do nothing, they want to be nothing. I guess that Nothingness IS their religion!

I believe in Something. Something is better than nothing. Something is always 'happening.' Something went wrong, but something will turn around. Something is weird, but it's a good weird. Something can make you cry or laugh. Something even tastes good, but I can't pinpoint it. Somethings, in life, are like that.
If you don't believe in Something, you can always believe in Anything, because Anything is also better than nothing and anything can happen, too.

There are elements of the Void or Nothingness in eastern philosophies. Maybe a Buddhist can help you find nothing.

I don't feel that God NEEDS our worship. I don't worship anything and I don't think anyone is better than anyone else.

Be thankful for this life and your awareness and for God's gifts, but he does not require your worship, he just requires your love.
