Or are you so close-minded that you would exclude the possibility that God does, in fact, exist?

Perhaps religion has "done a number" on God, and cast a shadow over his reality, but does man's imperfection have to cloud your judgement? Or can you really be open-minded enough to allow the possibility of a God's existence that is beyond your experience and reason?

huh!

What? Since no human being on the planet knows the answer to the question "Does God exist ?" then of course his existence is a possibility. By the same token his non-existence is also a possibility. What the hell do you think most intelligent agnostics/atheists have been trying to say? Dumb question

I believe in my point of view that i'm an open minded person, and i do believe that God exists and yes I handle it well. The world is a mystery and God gave us brains to use it. People who are atheists should ask themselves some questions. Who created the earth and the other planets? Who created the blue sky with no coloumns to carry it up? Who created those tiny atoms that are found everywhere even in our body? Who created plants and made them grow? .. The point is WHO CREATED YOU? I'm not saying you have to choose a specific religion to believe in God, but we can't ignore the fact that he's out there somewhere watching every thing you do. I'm a muslim and respect the christian religion and jewish religion too. To all people who don't believe God is out there, please ask yourselves once again before its too late. Don't ignore his existence. Thank you :)

The point is that no-one knows if god exists or not. Atheists argue that as there is no evidence for a god then it is likely that one does not exist.

Also if you read up on the history of religions you may see why it is likely that god is imaginary.

For the sake of argument: Were a god to appear in front of me, and he were to perform something miraculous and unexplainable, then I would say OK, there is a god. At which point I would ask him what exactly has been doing to us all this time? For example, what's the purpose of cancer for 3-year-old kids? What did they ever do to you? Why do you allow your followers to hurt other people who don't agree with them? And all the thousands of other questions I have. Then again, I might just punch him in the head for being such a jerk to us.

Christians fight back..
If G-d shows me concrete proof that he exists (not just in a book thank you very much) who am I to say that he is not real.
Its just that remember the book which Xtians have been quoting HAS already been proven to be unsatisfactory and yet you've been pushing the book. Its no wonder the atheist and the agnostics laugh at the feeble attempts to proof that G-d is real.

No not really...since god was created by humans
the whole idea has been handed down .....its ancient stuff
I feel that when and if the truth of life is ever known
your gods will look kind of sad....since life death and everything would be far greater than any god..your best argument would be .....to be silent ...keep it to yourself..don't infect any one else with this blindness

Open mindedness is subjective. By one perspective I am open minded because I believe in Jesus. By others I am a nut case.

Well duh. Anyone that builds opinions and beliefs on facts and evidence will change their mind to suit the current facts and evidence. This isn't a new concept, atheists and agnostics alike have been asking for proof of a godly existence for several centuries.

I just don't have any evidence to support belief in a god of any sort. If there really is a god, then he/she knows what tools I have at my disposal to find him/her. I haven't yet.
