Well you may not believe it but I had the pleasure twice. Not so much as roses but some nice flower that is plucked and given to you as a present. When I received it I was actually pretty unsure what to do with it and thought I will offer it back as a token and she became pretty mad. So the next time I made sure I took it and appreciated her gesture. Did I enjoy the flowers maybe/maybe not. But did I enjoy the gesture and attention? I sure did.

Yes. My wife buys me them once in awhile. I enjoy accepting them, but don't really enjoy the roses.

I have never had a girlfriend or wife buy me a Valentine's present. It would be nice.
