Some people process information better than others. In order to be good at something one must be around that subject constantly.

In the section "Storing God's Word in Our Minds", I personally gained the knowledge that eventhough I do not study scripture constantly that does not mean that I do not believe in God. According to the text it says it is easier to remember something if it is associated with using pictures. I find this very true because I can retain scripture just by picturing some of the stories from the Bible by placing it with a story.

sometimes, indeed, a picture is worth a thousand words.

There are whole bible memorization programs that use pictures and symbols instead of words themselves.

we are to hide God's word in our hearts that we might not sin against Him - through stories, through study, through pictures, through memorization, etc.

god bless.

Yup, to learn doesn't necessarily mean we must be attached to words. If pictures are more suitable, then they should also be incorporated into religion to provide higher clarity.
