Believe it or not, this guy's got that ultra-super-duper-uber crappy song "my heart will go on" by Celine "I suck, don't I?" Dion! GAAAAH! I'm losing my mind! I don't want him to turn it down a little, I want him to replace it with a better one but I don't think he'll agree (I wouldn't)! What should I do?

Appreciation the answers thus far, but I should point out that although singing the song loudly is my favorite suggestion, I can't do it since there are lots of people around and they don't seem to be bothered by this as much as I am. We are in an office and most of us have lost the will to live, they don't care about anything anymore. Absolute apathy. Please, keep answering. Great stuff so far, I'd love to see more.

Introduce an office-wide policy that cellphones should be on silent/vibrate out of respect for your co-workers.

That and merciless teasing of your colleague for being such a loser should do the trick!

Set Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" as your ringtone, put it all the way up, and have another co-worker call your phone whenever you're around him. Or some really dirty rap song.

Yea, Titanic. Wow.

I hate that song too. Steal his phone while he's not looking and change it. Or just keep sending him some of your fave ringtones until he gets the point. I've done it before, it usually works.

you can always tease him. start singing along at the top of your lungs, even after he's answered it, so the callers will know that that's his ringtone.

just be very friendly about it, but he definitely deserves to get ribbed about this one.
