this question is a double edged sword, you ask does treating homosexuals differently constitute discrimination, which of course, the answer is yes, yet you neglect to point out it's impossible to treat all employees the same. If all employees received the same pay, most businesses wouldn't make it. Your friend may be overly-sensitive about being accepted at his place of business, and could be overlooking the real issue. Business doesn't care if your gay or straight, woman or man, business is heartless, and only cares for one thing. the mighty buck. If your friend doesn't get promoted, maybe your friend didn't earn it.

Yes. It is descrimination at its peak. Homosexuals should be treated just like everybody else, no matter what the circumstances. They are just people, after all. A straight person's sexual orientation doesn't govern other aspects of their life, so why should a gay person's?

Yes it is. Homosexuals are humans too, they just love a bit differently that others. You can't help who you fall in love with.

100% yes. I am so sick of discrimination and injustice on all levels and against so many people. Everybody suffers discrimination from someone! Why??? Are we that mean, that scared, that stupid. that limited?? What is it about people that make us want to hurt each other?

Yes, that is discrimination. What does anyone's bedroom activity have to do with their work?? That makes no sense.

Maybe it has to do with her character or lack thereof. Why are people so damn quick to play the victim??!!! "I'm sad, I didn't get this, I didn't get that because of my skin color/sexuality/etc." POOR EXCUSE. Tell her to brush up on her skills.
